Haha yes. I still loved my Myvi though and it served me well.

Just sold off the car last week in anticipation of the Ativa's arrival

How's your ride so far bro? Giving you smiles each time you're behind the wheel?
*
Some lucky person getting yr Myvi !

Ativa looks bulky but handles like a smaller car. The chassis is really good. Except for a few highway runs (engine still new) where the engine is really loud at 4000 rpm, the city drives are smooth and acceleration is super quick from a rolling start due to all the torque from 2,000 rev onwards. Standing start is slow because it is still above a ton and the turbo doesn't kick in from the beginning.

Haha yea bro.

Interesting observation especially on this - "Standing start is slow because it is still above a ton and the turbo doesn't kick in from the beginning"

This was one of the key differences I noticed during my 2 test drives in the Ativa vs the Myvi I was using.

Somehow the Myvi was like eager to shoot off traffic lights when I gunned the pedal and I didn't get that same sensation from the traffic lights with the Ativa.

I do admit the Eco Idle mode is much quieter and refined vs the Ativa though - to the point that I may just give it a chance instead of switching it off each time I drive it. laugh.gif

Can you teansfer the NCD if you sell ur car before getting new car? Not sure how transfer NCD works. I assume they use the same record under your name instead of the car coz they already sold to new owner

Yes. My SA handled everything.

Probably if selling it yourself, may need to inform the insurance company etc. I suppose there should be someone here who can advise or share more details on the NCD.

Presently, buyers are throwing themselves at the Sales Advisors, no free gifts necessary...

It cost me RM60 for a full tank last week.

The front seats are fine, but the rear seats don't fully support the thighs of an average adult-sized male.
*

How's the fuel consumption? On average, full tank gave u how much mileage ya?

I'm averaging around 15km/l due to traffic jams at school and at roadblocks, so a full tank gives me 500km++. Can't wait to go balik kampung to try and get the advertised 18.9km/l.

Hi bro,

Have you gone past a toll gate with a Smart Tag? I’m assuming the installed Llumar tint doesn’t hinder the tag? (I used Llumar on my previous car and had no issues)

Yes, I have. No, the installed Llumar tint doesn't hinder the tag. No delay, either.

Great! And how is it at keeping the heat out? I understand from previous posts they haven’t exactly revealed which grade Llumar it is, hehe...

I understand this is CVT and RPM may varies depending on weight.

Mind to share on constant speed of 120km/h how much RPM you are getting vs 100km/h and 140km/h?

I have no idea which grade it is, but a fellow forumer shared the following reply from Perodua. It's definitely effective at keeping the heat out, but you might need sunglasses on sunny days hehe...

What's the utility package? The door visors, coil mats and boot tray?

I only asked for the visors.

Boot tray the SA said will give for free [but will check if really provided].

The only stuffs I added from the catalog are the wheel lock nuts, vibratile package and the 2 hydrophobic thingy for the side mirrors.

I ban coil mats already cos it's a dust magnet. Prefer the normal carpets actually even on the Myvi.
*
Yup, visors quite practical to must have.

Oh, why you need the hydrophobic thingy since can use rain x?

I thought the package coil mats will be better than the original mats. gonna check the mats again.

Later share how much better the vibratile reduce the noise from outside.

Yes u can. Just call the service centre or surf their web. I just download the form and fill it up and tick NCD Withdrawal. Then need to go to the nearest branch for processing and some payment-call customer service 1st. After payment will receive the Endorsement Note and pass it to the SA.

Yup, at least the visors.

For the side mirrors, I was thinking since they have that film, might as well give it a try. Cos at the moment I have been using Mirror Coat Zero to achieve that water repelling effect on my side mirrors but it leaves a whitish mark on it. I don't like my side mirrors to bead cos it impedes visibility in the rain as I used to coat it with Rain X/Glaco too before I decided to use MCZ.

Yup, will share some feedback on the vibratile once it's installed. What I heard from my SA is that my car likely will need to be brought back for the installation. hmm.gif

As for the coil mats, it looks similar to the ones in use in the CX5 and from experience, those items makes the car looks 'cheap' and a pain to actually clean cos the dirt will get stuck in the mat.

The normal carpet does look dirty if it's dusty but at least it can be taken out easily to wash etc.

hello guys. Got mine 5 days ago.

I opted for the AV variant without the gear up accessories, much too ugly with the body kit. Stock look is better and much more subdued.

I don't have much experience in cars so i cant say much. I upgraded from a viva what i can say it is way better and more comfortable. I'm more bias towards comfort. As for free gift, you will get the normal stuff that they offer but nothing worth noting. I did get a memory card for the DVR (depending on your branch). i haven't been testing it out much as the manual say that there's a break in period for 1000KM; drive under 90km, below 3 rpm. I forgo the 90km and just making sure i don't go above 3kRPM. Looking forward for a road trip with this car. Cheers

Thanks for the feedback.

Yes, need to set appointment with P2 centre for installation. Thinking to take that too.

Will need to check the coil mats later and compare between the stock coil mats with GearUp version.
