QUOTE(woodentiger86 @ Mar 25 2021, 07:25 AM) Ahh cool. That's good to hear. Will probably explore more once I get my ride. Hopefully by tomorrow if all goes well. The SD card may or may not be a free gift or complimentary item, but the manual should definitely have been provided. The SA just told me the SD card was free, but he didn't explain whether it was from the dealer or from Perodua itself. I also didn't see anyone complaining about this in FB groups so I'm assuming the SA missed it or the owner misplaced it. It's just a tiny 16GB anyway so I replaced it with a 128GB afterwards lol.Hmm, seems odd that some received the SD card and some doesn't for the DVR? Hopefully it's not a case where the SA/Factory is shortchanging customers, unless it was specifically made clear that the DVR doesn't come with it's own SD card. Anyways, once I get the car, it's off to install the front & rear dashcams + battery pack I removed from my previous car. Probably the installer may need to remove the original DVR unit installed. Will provide an update once ready. |

QUOTE(advgamer @ Mar 25 2021, 08:53 AM) you may find everything include DVR about Ativa officially with below link I already have the physical manual for the DVR, it was someone else who didn't have it. However, there isn't a manual for the DVR at that link, only the manual for the car, the manual for the HU, and the warranty booklet. This is still helpful though since I can uninstall the app for the manual now, thanks!https://eownersmanual.perodua.com.my/ourcar...va/Ativa%202021 woodentiger86 liked this post

Okay I found the manual for the DVR this time. Perodua really should hire a competent UI/UX consultant to improve and streamline their site design. QUOTE(fongsk @ Mar 21 2021, 12:50 PM) Got my ativa AV last Thursday. any rattling noise so far when driving on uneven road?So far, so good. One Q. On the frontpassenger seat floor, does anyone feels any vibrations or periodic "knocking"? I sat ln passenger seat today and felt the floorboard "knocks" were very obvious at certain speed. |

QUOTE(alex00w @ Mar 28 2021, 10:10 PM) What's the utility package? The door visors, coil mats and boot tray?I only asked for the visors. Boot tray the SA said will give for free [but will check if really provided]. The only stuffs I added from the catalog are the wheel lock nuts, vibratile package and the 2 hydrophobic thingy for the side mirrors. I ban coil mats already cos it's a dust magnet. Prefer the normal carpets actually even on the Myvi. |

QUOTE(dogbert_chew @ Mar 28 2021, 08:57 PM) Ativa X.. tested urban and highway up to 140kmh. This issue has been mentioned by wapcar too. They also suspect the suspension. A knocking rattle below the rear seats (suspension?) When i go over tall humps. No other sound at any speed like what FongSaiYuk asked earlier. From my experience, the knocking sound after bump is the indication of coil spring insulator issue. dogbert_chew liked this post

QUOTE(-PuPu^ZaPruD3r- @ Mar 29 2021, 09:46 AM) From a F&F driving experience (Ativa up to 140kmh) so far,There is minimal difference with Myvi 1.5 Ativa for its height, roadholding is pretty firm, more from the new chassis than the soft suspensions. (Cant imagine the even softer ones on Rocky & Raize). Interior is smaller and cramp, rear passengers sacrificed for the Bigger bootspace. Only reason for buying this over Myvi are for the nice displays, safety features and bigger rims. -PuPu^ZaPruD3r- liked this post

QUOTE(alex00w @ Mar 28 2021, 10:10 PM) Agreed with woodtiger assessment.Took the utility, Door visor is useful. Mat is SMALLER than stock, what the.. should have gone outside to do it. Boot tray super flimsy and thin. Got conned. Outside can get thick tray just need to ensure size fits. |

Took the utility, Door visor is useful. Mat is SMALLER than stock, what the.. should have gone outside to do it. Boot tray super flimsy and thin. Got conned. Outside can get thick tray just need to ensure size fits. I'm waiting till they have the interior slot mats to place on all the cubby holes. Haha. The current ones are without the Ativa logo. I think by the time I bought my Myvi, it was already 2 years since launch so all the accessories were already pretty much ready like the mirror shades, cubby hole mats, boot tray etc. Hmm, like that might as well get the boot tray from outside. How's your ride so far bro? Giving you smiles each time you're behind the wheel? |
