I been using Poce F3 since July 21.
Up to now, no issues and the battery is also in good state.

But, I notice some F3 and newer Poco models having motherboard issue.
Is the quality getting worse?

I am already considering to switch to Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra / New Pixel Pro Max once released.

Same with me, suddenly it when kaput.. since release year, everything is excell. Luckily it give me one last breath to reboot and back up to cloud. My bff... We been together, i nvr regret using it. As cloud will back up almost everything, if phone kaput before cloning.

I think they are using mid quality to sell mid range phone. In electronic there are grade on every parts we are using.

My F3 occasionally restart or turn off by itself when charging. Anyone has similar experience? Is it an early sign of motherboard failure?

Is anyone using a third party charger/cable that can charge Poco F3 above 18W (Fast Charging)? Or is the original charger/cable the only one that can charge higher (at 33W)?

It is sign of power button failure, try and go to nearest Xiaomi Service Centre and tell them to check the issue, say it is power button, and then they most likely know the issue

It's proprietary

do watch out for many many many many fakes on laz/shopee, they have tricks to trick your phone into showing Mi Turbo Charge but it's charging slowly

I think you may be able to get 20W PD with a USBC PD Charger, but that's not a major increase

Yeah I'm aware the 33W Mi Turbo Charging is proprietary and can only be achieved with the original charger and cable, but is the Poco F3 not able to achieve up to 27W (9V/3A) under PD/QC protocols? Or is every other third party charger only capable to achieve max 18W (Fast Charging)?

There is this charger from Mcdodo that is apparently able to fully charge Redmi K40 in 52 minutes, which implies that it atleast charges up to 27W since it is close to the charging time of the original charger at 33W. No idea if it is truly capable of that.

My experience with McDodo CH-859 47w charger is that I can charge my F3 at 27w (using type A port)
usually I use it during outstation work with the type C port charging my iphone 13 PM at 20W and F3 at 27W
this speed doest work with other GAN chargers like UGreen 100W or kuulaa 65w, the other 2 GAN chargers that I have available

Your other two Higher Watt GAN chargers will charge your F3 at a lower W? Damn Xiaomi/Poco very picky with chargers.

I got the McDodo CH-091 33W Charger, charges my F3 at 23W (C port) or 18W (A port). Luckily McDodo chargers are able to charge F3 above 18W.

For me usually if I change battery, I just change the ribbon connectors and the port together at the same time since they don't cost much iirc. Does it cost a lot based on their quote?

yeah. So far only encountered McDodo that is able to charge at 27w for F3.
UGreen 100w charger is the worst, only manages to charge at 10-12W regardless of which port on the charger and with different cable also doh.gif
whereas with the kuulaa 65w charger at least i still get 18w charging

ok. what u said makes sense. originally they quoted me only battery.

then when i told them current one bloated, they suggested replacing the FPC as well.

i asked for the price of FPC and they quoted another rm10 for it. just take la... no point later replace battery and then another issue come up.

My poco f3 phone hang and now can't on anymore. Anyone has such issues before?
Anyone been to 1 utama xiaomi service center before? They told me that inspection fee is RM30 to check the problem.

Xiaomi Poco F3 good phone by its price per performance. But it's camera is very unusable by today's standard, even back then when it first launch. Recently, my Poco f3 will also start thermal throttle in some situation even it's not gaming. Maybe it's sign to upgrade. Maybe OnePlus 13, soon.

not surprised if there is such a charge. but usually if you proceed with repairs, it can be negotiated.
