I wonder if there was any cracks in the screen thus causing the solution of the wet wipes to seep in and kill the display?

QUOTE(LumbaKuda @ Mar 12 2023, 10:27 PM) miui_ALIOTHGlobal_V14.0.4.0.TKHMIXM I tried to install as local update and failed. I guess I will wait for OTA I haven't played with phone mods in years. it seems like that update is for pilot testers, like beta version your account/phone probably isnt enrolled into said program, so it rejected the update

QUOTE(LumbaKuda @ Mar 19 2023, 02:34 AM) Update on this. Install Miui Downloader frm playstore. Their copy of miui_ALIOTHGlobal_V14.0.4.0.TKHMIXM_b9ed940850_13.0.zip is not Beta Recovery. Install that app it gives you download link you download then go to About Phone choose Update Package find that zip file install. I am in middle of updating. Update: First thing I noticed Nova launch keeps crashing. Last time miui 13 same issue but you can hide the 3 dots at bottom and use mygesture (playstore). Now you can't remove the 3 dots if you intent to use 3rd party launcher. Also I can't apply icon packs on Poco launcher I can on 3rd party launcher. After update seems to be L1 alternatively, no need install app, can download from https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/a trusted site or the official site https://c.mi.com/global/miuidownload/detail/device/1900394or if you want it really directly, https://bigota.d.miui.com/V14.0.4.0.TKHMIXM...940850_13.0.zipas for launcher stuff, yeah seems like 3rd party launchers cant use gestures anymore, forced to use buttons and the workarounds with 3rd party gesture apps dont work either icon pack support seems to be gone too from poco launcher

Its kinda annoying by popping and asking to update apps. debloat/ uninstall it https://www.xda-developers.com/uninstall-ca...ut-root-access/the command you need is adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.xiaomi.mipicks I am on MIUI13 still and this app got pushed to me as well uninstalled it with no ill effects

QUOTE(mydragoon @ Apr 4 2023, 11:21 AM) no idea. but yeah, i was surprised as well by the charge. but well, no choice... anyway, still waiting for battery to restock. a bit of gaming on weekends. genshin impact and roblox. dun recall any drop... so, a bit sad to see the battery bloated... Maybe fast charging at such high wattages degrades the battery quickly Am worried about those crazier models with like 120W fast charging

QUOTE(kiritoffx @ Apr 8 2023, 07:52 PM) Just new power bank and when charging poco it shows quick charge instead of mi turbo. My question is does quick charge is charging as same speed as mi turbo using the plug? Quick charge means my powerbank don't support mi turbo or I need to change the cable? Mi Turbo is kinda proprietary and probably you can only find from original xiaomi brick + cable It is probably falling back to 18W QC3 fast charging still fine tbh, but its not Mi Turbo 33W

QUOTE(SwarmTroll @ Apr 11 2023, 04:31 PM) Damn OTA update for MiUi 14 until now still hasn't shown up. Slowpoke Xiaomi, might just manually update it. I also still havent got, you could manually download the zip file from the links above, then tap on the miui logo a few times in updater, it will enable a few more settings, 1 allowing you to manually select an update zip file to install

QUOTE(Chisinlouz @ Apr 14 2023, 12:36 AM) Anyone have connectivity issue? Im using Yes5g. No line since 5am until now, a full day. Tried restarting the phone, occasionally having line but gone in few seconds. What i noticed is there was a "wallet" function in Toggles earlier today but it's now gone. Possible if my phone was hacked? Wallet may be a region thing? try checking region in settings and make sure its Malaysia could be MIUI bloat too, Games and GetApps randomly showed up for me

Hmm my POCO F3 may be failing MIUI 13.0.7.0
so, yesterday after I unplug from charger, it went to poco logo and bootlooped there I hold down the buttons, got into recovery, booted into safe mode, then rebooted again works again
today, while listening to a whatsapp message, it froze and bootlooped again i hold down the buttons, got into recovery, but was unable to move and the phone rebooted again eventually managed to get it to go over to safe mode, selected it, but it booted into normal mode
so far the phone is working I wonder if its a software problem (MIUI being what it is) or a hardware problem (power buttons failing)
I'm learning towards the latter since I keep activating the double press for flashlight thing despite me only pressing it once

QUOTE(kiritoffx @ Jun 13 2023, 05:53 AM) [attachmentid=11470235] Small update .. 14.0.7.0 228mb size After update.. my xox sim now can vowifi. Previous post I said no vowifi for xox despite all setting are done correctly. Tests call, both hd and wifi symbol show up besides the phone number Too bad, unifi sim still can't vowifi despite unifi cs said the telco support it. [attachmentid=11470236] Still "No Updates Available" on MIUI 13.0.7 Did they forget to push MIUI 14 for Malaysia (Yes I know I can manually sideload it)

You can manually download the update file and sideload it in the updater app if you want to get it NOW https://bigota.d.miui.com/OS1.0.2.0.TKHMIXM...6a5400_13.0.zipif the download is very slow, you may try replacing "bigota" with hugeota bn cdnorg to use different cdns for me on TIME, bigota and hugeota were slow, had to use bn or cdnorg

QUOTE(lucaswjk @ Jun 23 2024, 09:55 AM) i was wondering why the JPJ app appears there when selecting default launcher. seem like JPJ hired 3rd rate developers. some local apps are so cursed, Yoodo's app used to show up as a browser choice

QUOTE(SwarmTroll @ Nov 23 2024, 06:18 PM) Is anyone using a third party charger/cable that can charge Poco F3 above 18W (Fast Charging)? Or is the original charger/cable the only one that can charge higher (at 33W)? It's proprietary do watch out for many many many many fakes on laz/shopee, they have tricks to trick your phone into showing Mi Turbo Charge but it's charging slowly I think you may be able to get 20W PD with a USBC PD Charger, but that's not a major increase
