1.0. Is possible. Old axia also can get 15km/l highway.

I have a manual Axia. It can do above 18km/l on highway easily.

Highway RPM gonna be high, not your Toyota CVT kind of RPM

120km/h @ 3.2k RPM.

Although good pickup but will definitely struggle to reach speed above 110km/h

Paul test drive report...
search string below nod.gif

driven-perodua-ativa-d55l-suv-first-impressions/

copy from ..
the biggest takeaway from a short ride and drive session in the Perodua D55L today (Perodua would like to keep the name unveiling for the launch, but since everyone is calling it the Ativa, I’ll follow) is its refinement. There are two parts to this.

Rolling noise and general refinement is good in the Ativa, significantly better than in the third-generation Myvi, which was already better than any P2 product when it came out in 2017. The wheel well roar, so bold in the Myvi, is not here, and wind noise at highway speeds (and beyond, we were in P2’s private test track with strict SOPs in place) doesn’t stand out.

Any indication on whether or not there's going to be Apple Carplay/Android Auto?

Would be the final nail in the coffin for my X50 booking.

Can test lor later
But interior size is like how ah? Say if compared to Kembara?

Well my priority is I guess more on NVH, ride comfort, pickup and then base price / durability. As long as not complete fuel guzzler like Prevek then ok la. hmm.gif
*
Interior size should be > Kembara. Around Myvi.

But if you're priority is ride, NVH, pickup.. why choose SUV? Sedans have the edge here.

SUV being taller has more wind resistance hence noise and poorer handling due to higher center of gravity. Also usually heavier vs same segment sedan (although Ativa seems pretty light)

Suggest test drive Ativa first as there are BIG differences from X50. Especially if you travel highway regularly at speed.

Below 4M length
Haval M4, Ativa

The rest longer
Haval H2, X50 4.3
BRV, Aruz 4.4
X70 4.5

for comparison
Yaris 4.1, Vios 4.4, City 4.5

If u can park B segment sedan, SUV until X70 should not be a problem

From Saga, better just topup a little bit la get Persona/Iriz (really, just 5k-10k more)
Feels more premium and that 1.6L horsepower makes it a lot more enjoyable to drive
Minus Punch CVT lah laugh.gif
