But the difference of 4.8 and 4.4 is too big too say won't lose performance. So just curious what's the behavior in these modern games.

most games will load cpu especially 11700 to like 40-50% only. even if you set a10900K to 5.3ghz, it wont necessary reach there all the time. yes you get a little gain like 1-5% but normally that is only visible when you run benchmarks. That's why if you look back at on graph tristanX shared, 10400F is in the mix of all the faster pricier cpus.

that said, you will actually get more FPS from ram tuning... thats why ctskl mentioned, depending on how stable B560 is on memory OC... 11700F + B560 and a 4000+ mhz ram will be the ideal setup for gaming purpose

I would not recommend it. Its not worth it. Just get MSI Z490-A Pro or Z590-A Pro.

Yeah 11400F will be a very strong for its price. Hopefully it wont get too hyped.

And if you just going 11400F, B560 should do just fine if you just aiming for 4000mhz ram OC. Spend that money for a better gpu and psu instead.

Generally,

MSI mid range components with decent bios through out their lineup. Good all rounder. Recently been doing very hard on markerting through adding OC features.

Gigabyte over engineered on secondary features through out their lineup making it very costly for minimal gains. They usually target the upper midrange market, slightly below the rog but thanks to MSI, gigabyte have to be more competitive in pricing.

Asus only their top of the line rog excels. Mid range down all crap because they nerf the bios and components to make their high ends rog stand out.

Asrock has always been the cheap bottom scrap that just works for those who dont have enough budget. However recently they kinda started pushing some pretty high end boards for AMDs but their intel still lacking.
