initially had some problem with the fingerprint scanner especially when finger is abit dry..but try to do an all-round scan of fingerprint, the result is much better..no issue for me now

Used to forced my phone to 3G 3 years ago when 4G was unstable at my hometown. Never have to do that anymore and I did not expect having to do this for a 2021 flagship.

Previously used P20 Pro, mate 20 Pro, mate 30 Pro, P40 Pro, mate 40 Pro. All no issues lol, all from Huawei though.

Anyway, miraculously, phone no longer heating during intense gaming sinceast night. Previously heat was unbearable but now there's no heat at all. Gonna try and see how moving forward.

Too much handwash & sanitizing also affected the fingerprint scanner sensitivity. Dry out your hand faster. It can kill off some of the cells on your fingerprint.

This is quite true. The signal strenght on my S21 Ultra not as strong with my IP12 Pro Max when I swap the sim card in the same area. The IP12 Pro Max is using SD X55 modem which has better reception signal compared to the Exynos modem

You can google it. Based on my personal experience also everytime I apply hand sanitizer then I will not able to unlock my phone with fingerprint scanner. Have to wait few minutes before you can use it back. Have to use passcode if im wearing facemask.

Yes, you're correct that hand sanitizers do reduce the scanner sensitivity but it's not due to the sensitivity. It is actually due to the skin being too dry after using hand sanitizers. Also it doesn't kill off the cells or damage the skin apart from making it flake if used too often.

Yes, it really is worth the extra RM 800. You're getting a better screen, much better cameras, S-Pen functionality, slightly better battery life and the sizes are so similar you won't feel a difference holding/using it compared to the S21+.

Your options should really be either the S21 or S21 Ultra only. The Plus feels like a redundant device that offers nothing much when compared with the S21 and S21 ultra.

Yup..quite true...the fingerprint scanner works better when your finger has 'grip' on the screen due to moisture..if finger dry and slippery then abit hard to scan

You try to connect using in box cable? The app is slow but transfer speed improve when I connect both phones using cable instead of transferring wirelessly

Not many people using smart switch now. Just use your google account. It will automatically transfer your contact if you save it on your google account. For files and pictures you can transfer it manually through cable via your pc laptop. Same also to Mac but a little bit slower & complicated
