Does anyone know of a better way to trickle charge the batttery without accessing the batt terminal itself? To do it on the battery, the seat, some plastic bits, fuse box all have to be unscrewed and removed. Really troublesome.

Put extra wires (+ve & -ve) on battery terminal. Cap it properly. When needed, connect to this wires to trickle charge. One time hassle.

That sounds heaven sent but I am sometimes dumb as sh*t. Do you possibly have a pictorial view of what kind of cables I should be looking for? I am seeing all these only:

The ends that have rings on them make sense. However, the other end doesn't look like it can be clamped by the Bosch C3 alligator clips.

You get the idea. That item installed on bike side. On charger side, get something similar and connect to the battery charger. That way you can use the quick connect. Sample in video here:

Haha, happened to me as well with my C3 charger, but that means now my C3 can only be used to charge my bike and not my car since i have permanently affixed the connector to my bike's batt.

Yo, don’t scare me man. I bight some cheapo cables online that seems to look like the c3’s connector cables. I presume the connector clip is the same. So I don’t have to sacrifice my current one which I use to charge almost all my stuffs. Is the Busch’s cable proprietary?

To my knowledge, yes, unless China made some knock-offs which i'm not aware of.

Forgot to update actually. It doesn't fit right out of the gate. Those cables are mainly SAE connectors. I could only find SAE and CTEK connectors, there wasn't any Bosch ones. What I did was buying 2 of them and by connecting the SAE connectors back to back, I have 2 ends that are terminal rings. One end goes to the batt and the other I just clip with the aliigators on my charger. Seems to work also, hopefully it doesn't explode .

Anyone that bought battery online such as lazada/shopee? is it a lot of counterfeits?

Dude, don't buy those items which has warranty from online platforms. Most of the online warranty services is questionable.
Go buy from physical shop instead..

Unless u r using smart tickle charger which can chk & determine the battery power strength will stop charging once the battery power strength has reached the peak..

My company kapchai(Suzuki Smash 110) already adopted 12v 7.2a SLA battery long time ago..

My bike regulator will cut to 6V when no battery detect. the BMS has overcharge protection. I guess it works.
When you adopt SLA, you're referring to MF over the conventional flooded? Or, something else?

erm, that SLA battery is commonly found in Auto gate/house alarm panel/smaller size UPS.
Lead proof & MF type.

Just got my b2 last year August.. as I am thinking of changing job.

those are gel type, right? I haven't cut open one yet. aren't those more expensive?

VRLA lead acid battery, 12V 7.2A cost about 60+ RM.

afaik it doesn't have valve, and it's constantly under negative pressure
once it goes positive pressure, the rubber cap will bulge, or starts to leak if the glue doesn't hold

By the time the battery swelled & start leaking, it means it has reached EOL..

Ok, local battery news.. Yuasa MY confirmed closing its manufacturing plant in Sg.Petani. So, all incoming products(vehicle battery) wil be either from Indonesia or Thailand branches.

So, the factory becomes battery manufacturer for another brand?
