QUOTE(toos99 @ Feb 16 2021, 09:51 PM) Does anyone know of a better way to trickle charge the batttery without accessing the batt terminal itself? To do it on the battery, the seat, some plastic bits, fuse box all have to be unscrewed and removed. Really troublesome. Put extra wires (+ve & -ve) on battery terminal. Cap it properly. When needed, connect to this wires to trickle charge. One time hassle. |

QUOTE(toos99 @ Feb 17 2021, 02:02 AM) That sounds heaven sent but I am sometimes dumb as sh*t. Do you possibly have a pictorial view of what kind of cables I should be looking for? I am seeing all these only: As shown below. https://shopee.com.my/12V-Terminal-To-SAE-Q...4AaAsgxEALw_wcB The ends that have rings on them make sense. However, the other end doesn't look like it can be clamped by the Bosch C3 alligator clips. QUOTE(alexei @ Feb 17 2021, 07:15 AM) You get the idea. That item installed on bike side. On charger side, get something similar and connect to the battery charger. That way you can use the quick connect. Sample in video here: Fairly straight forward DIY job. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(yhsiau @ Oct 30 2023, 08:43 PM) Not so "high tech" bike consume less battery power during idle.. Not really. My keyless PCX hand been sitting for nearly 2 months without starting, with alarm / immobiliser switch on. The battery still good acter 2 months. Single crank can start. Those keyless scooter sure drains lots of battery power during idle periods. |

QUOTE(yhsiau @ Nov 4 2023, 01:56 PM) Well, I have a customer who owns an adv160.. he left his bike unused for a week, the battery power is 11.2v which is not strong to start the bike. Then something not right with the bike electricals. Even my brother's Vario 150 work after weeks been left in his garage. He took the battery to me request charging the battery. |
