I assure you that you will find peace some day, bro.
On a different note, I'm clearing my shelves, so have a couple of things left for sale - an EBS ValveDrive and Radial Bassbone Bass Control Centre, Onerr Flanger and Vox Cooltron Big Ben Overdrive. Any takers, pm me ...

got sound samples? if the tone is nice i'll consider.

i saw a single J on some weird unknown brand. i swear that was the brightest bass i ever played.
it was like the telecaster of basses man.

sorry, dude, i don't believe in sound samples nor do i have time to do them ... i'ma firm believer that there's nothing better than hearing the real thing for yourself and deciding ... so if u have time, drop by my place in subang for a hands-on test.

maybe the "single J" on the tele bass is actually a vintage single-coil P thingie ... like this?

sounds like a good thing. i'll keep in touch for arranging a drop-by to test whenever i'm free.

the single J looked more like the standard Js you'd see come stock on a bass. more like:

http://www.seymourduncan.com/products/bass...sjb5_stack_for/

minus the fact that this one is branded and is really good, but yeah.
The bass wasn't a tele, but it sure as heck sounded like a bass version of it. that thing was so bright i could have cut through a mosh pit with it.

heard that digitech not good in bass effects.. but its overdrive sound not bad.. heard it in its website.. hehe

QUOTE(Bassraptor @ Jan 24 2008, 05:42 PM)
you're looking for bass distortion/overdrive?

Gallien Krueger DieselDawg - pure evil distortion

EBS ValveDrive & MultiDrive - tasty OD and distortion. ValveDrive is tube and I have one.

MXR DI80 - a DI box and distortion, quite useable.

Fulltone - rated pretty highly.
Boss, Behringer distortion for teenage girls on helium ... smile.gif

I have the EBS ValveDrive left, yes, still available ... sms me at 012-3094001 if you're keen ... it's not cheap but it wipes the floor with most of the others ...

wah...been absent for quite some time.

thanks for the many cents u all gave.

I only have a J now, some songs i play i think would sound better with a P. Dats y i ask lar...haha. Problem is not enuff money to buy another P to complement my J. As for now i just turn down the bridge pup and turn up the neck pup, tone at 1/4.

So any more thoughts on the nut issue?
