To all the abang abang Riders, we’re sorry we made you wait for nothing. We are working closely with our delivery partners to understand why the technical glitch occurred and will work towards solving it.

Lastly, we wanna thank our Bangsar Geeks for trying their best to serve all the orders despite all odds. They were busy cooking while fielding calls from angry guests, unhappy riders and even had to answer to the police in the end.

Given the current MCO situation, we are thankful for the opportunities and support given by everyone. While we failed to fulfill some orders tonight, we’re truly remorseful and we promise to do better tomorrow.

Food ordering platform should do that since it takes one button and the MCO rule is universal.

Already said in their statement that their order closed at 7:30 but they received a ton of order at 7:20. They will probable change their last order time after this.

MCO 1.0 I've seen certain Mcd closed at 6.30pm (Grab's cutoff at 7pm). Drove over and saw some crazy long line there.

Kinda obvious MBL didn't impose a cut-off when they were swamped with orders.

Read again. The orders were made before 7:30pm but was backlogged at their delivery partner side so MBL were delayed from receiving some orders until after 7:30pm.

Sigh. Delivery partner backlog orders (that has probably been cooked), but they continue cooking past 7.30pm instead of cancel those orders?

If really delivery partners order backlog until MBL cannot see it in system, then I agree with their apology.

Unsure about Panda but Grab's cutoff is 7.20pm. How did orders go through past 7.30pm?

Grab cut off time 7.20. At start of mco 2 it was 7pm. The platform adjust here and there but the mgmt team of Burger lab not keeping up it seems. End of day blame it on mkn because they last minute come up with sop for mco2 even though they had been talking about it for weeks.

And i recall someone in/k actually asked me what preparations restaurants need to do that requires them to have the SOP from mkn in advance.

when eaten too much, the tasty pleasure level has lose its sensation. it then becomes a food just to swallow.

if you haven't tried, worth trying, remember to prepare rm25 for a proper meal.

their fries and sauce is still amazing.

This happened to me with one of my grab orders - ordered 7.10-7.15pm or so with another restaurant. Later it was cancelled around 7.30++, the restaurant called and said they had to cancel cause when they got the order, it was already after their cutoff time.

MBL also has own ordering system via their website. How to explain if influx of orders at 7.29pm from all 3 channels? They should cancel what they can't cope but MBL chose to keep cooking until 9pm until cops showed up.

They decided to keep cooking because they know that people cannot order again as all delivery has already closed and people would not be able to get their dinner. Even despite their good intentions, they had to cancel a bunch of orders anyway.

problem is when u open those food delivery app. most of the restaurants closed at 7 sharp. so some ppl no choice but make order on those restaurants that still taking orders.

Dunno why so many ppl order burgerlab when their burger is just so-so only. Nothing really special.

I also kena yesterday.

Opened grab food and it said last order 7.30pm so I fast fast ordered since it was around 7.15pm already.

Waited and waited grab cancelled my order around 8pm saying no rider. Sigh.

Not acceptable, they should implement last call procedure. If they want close at 8pm, last call 7 pm or 7.30 pm.

If the last call is 8, them they need to risk working after 8pm.

Ma ci Bai, you close, people waiting for food no need eat for the night lor? If cannot do, you tell earlier 7pm, people can still find other alternative or order from anyone else that can still cook.

You go cancel people order after 8, or close to 8. You not giving opportunities to other people to find alternative. Restaurant like this will be on my blacklist.

Yes I read and? It's the restaurant fault. Cannot prepared food for 100 people want go and accept food for 100 people. Cannot block? Accept the order, you deliver it even if you need to cook behind closed doors after 8 pm.

Government order to close business at 8. But no order for closing kitchen at 8 or need worker to go back home sharp at 8.
