No.

Merchants usually will set a closing grace period from store operation hours. So for example, if they close at 2200, the grace period is 1 hour (example) before closing so orders will not come in 1 hour before closing.

FoodPanda is 1 hour before closing.

But Grab does manual work, so the key account person has to update the system manually on the changes of operation hours, with MCO in place etc. Unlike FoodPanda where they have a portal for Merchants to change it from their end to avoid this mess.

Its either Burgerlab did not communicate the new time to Grab or Grab screwed up on the operation hours.

That's true, BL has to manually update their operating hours in grab system, u can set 6.30pm or 7pm which u find comfortable with.

Problem with BL is, they have 3 delivery platforms (Their own, grabfood and foodpanda), plus the influx of walk in customer, i really doubt they can finish the burger by 8pm. Grab system has their own flaw as well, but BL boss has fair share of blame, anyway he has done well by compensating the customer.

I thought mBL is exclusive to Grab?

But yes, both parties to be blamed. Only a handful of stores also cannot handle. Incompetent.
