this round no need to struggle choose SD888 or Exy2100, because both chip are make by Samsung Fab tongue.gif

last time SD show different compare to Exy because , SD make by TSMC Fab & Exy make by Samsung.
TSMC are world 1st chip maker even with same 7nm manufacturing tech, TSMC still best of the best!
this year for flagship chip, TSMC only manufacture Apple A14 & Huawei Kririn9000 order!

as such SD888 or Exy2100 will perform equally due to same Samsung Fab 5nm manufacturing process doh.gif
Good luck to thermal handling for both SD888 & Exy2100 bangwall.gif

In another word if one overheat the other will overheat too. Thats bad for consumer, not much option

Jz ordered my Ultra 512gb  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif first time ever migrating out of my comfort zone as a hardcore iphone fan. kinda nervous   sweat.gif  sweat.gif
Has been Iphone fan since iphone 4

was waiting Samsung to change Exynos but i guess now 2100 should be the answer to Snapdragon.

For the part of price down and so on and so forth .... it will be trend - rember we buy phone not for resale value but we really love it and enjoy using it.. new model will be out less than a year...

charger? i had unused iphone chargers and 6 other 3rd party chargers sitting at home coz i used wireless charging 99% of the time.. y i need to care if thy no longer provide - ultimately nobody will care...in a year or 2
Micro SD- we iphone users already used to it from the beginning...

Conclusion : migrating from iphone to samsung android - samsung features is overkill compared to iphone especially camera dept. reliability : will hav to see. tongue.gif

Could I just jump on your boat and offer my take on this?

If one who has been out and about freely and all of a sudden finds himself in prison, it will take a while for him to adjust and if at all he eventually can, he may grudgingly do it cause he’s stuck in there and has no choice. However, conversely, if he had been jail and finally released, he will find it refreshing as he can do almost everything at his whims and fancies, without too much restrictions.

Thus, I am almost certain you will enjoy what Android can offer. A caveat though. Fanboys of Apple/iOS are not included in my analogy.

Just sharing my experience..migrated to Android (Z Fold2) from iOS (since iPhone 5 era). I love the Samsung hardware design (immersive screen, one small dot of front camera), but i don't like Android system as overall its not as polish and stable comparing with iOS. So end up switched back to iOS  tongue.gif
*
Welcome to Android. You will take a while to get used to it but honestly it's much more advanced than iOS once.

I just switched from iPhone 11 Pro to a mid range Samsung s20FE and Android solves so many problems that iOS was giving me so much headaches on.

iOS stable ? Oh please. Can't even multitask like Android does and lags and stutters when I do so. I cant even have a video call and do a quick browsing on iPhone 11 Pro and the battery could even last a day with my usage. But Samsung S20FE easily lets me multitask while my video call is on and a battery that actually lasts. And after I adjusted the animation window to be faster ok Android? It's like real butter smooth.

I just know that Never will I go back to IOS again. Like once you are used to a flying a spaceship, why go back to normal airplanes?

Regarding charger.. on my N20u, only the original samsung charger can give the super fast charging. My other third party charger cannot.. its a huge battery, it will take ages to charge without super fast charging.. the iphone charger is even slowpoke..

Regardless the charger wattage, if it's able to fully charge your phone within an hour, it's fast enough.

Hi all, why no one mention the smart tag? This smart tag, if works, would be a game changer. Smart key for smart home and can put on dog to track it etc...

Look forward to more freebies and discounts for this phone. It is either this or oppo x3 Pro. BTW is the extra 4gb ram matters? Thinking of going for ultra but don't know which one. I don't really need 512gb, but ram size matters?

Lastly on iPhone, I would have gotten iPhone 12 Pro last year if not I confirmed iPhone apps are country specific. I have to have access to some China apps like bank apps which are not available in Malaysia stote. That's the big flaw for me for iPhone.

Welcome to Galaxy
Any examples of 3rd party chargers that support PPS?

Form the other thread, another former tried this and say he can achieve the 45W SuperFastCharge.
https://www.ugreen.com/products/65w-4-port-...-gan-pd-charger

I have the same charger too but didn’t try if it can fast charge my father’s Note10+

For some reasons, N20U is the slowest charging model among all its other galaxy peers launched last year, despite having smaller battery capacity (vs S20U)

So far only S20U can cross the 1hr full charge with 25W charger.

Others fall slightly off (more than 1hr) and Note20U most noticeably so.

The market standard (since Apple introduced 18W PD fast charge) is 50% in half hour. Anything follow close to it (with exception of M51, it’s because the battery is too big by itself, LOL) shouldn’t be much of a problem.

Not same stuff... You sure as good as the new Samsung smart tag? Some of the shoppee tags don't even work or distance is very short plus no last location memory plus integrated with phone apps that work well.

Samsung never have the fastest charging, especially after the S7 boom fiasco. The samsung super fast charging is just 25w, its nothing compared to chinese phones crazy fast charging.. iphone is out of equation, small battery.. my reply just now was just to enlighten the guy who just moved from iphone, he thought he wouldn't mind without charger included, but i guess he will still have to buy a third party charger that support samsung super fast charging, for the sake of convenience

I personally think no point in getting S21+ as its size is similar to S21 Ultra this year, at least in terms of width which is important for 1 hand use. Either S21 or S21 Ultra, or get the S20+ which is more compact due to its side curve.
*
But S21 and S21+ differences is S21+ comes with UWB and glass
Looking forward how's the camera difference between S21+ and S21 Ultra
As S21 Ultra although slightly bigger than S21+, but is heavier as well, 200g (S21+) vs 227g (S21 Ultra)

Yeah, my point exactly. That’s why I refrain from telling folks to either jump to Android or jump to iOS when they tell me their frustrations or ask me for recommendations. Both have their pros and cons and may or may not be suitable to one’s needs and requirements so I don’t go around making claims that iOS or Android is more stable or has more bugs, etc. Buy and use whatever suits your needs and you’ll be fine. I use both so I enjoy the best and tolerate the worst of both worlds smile.gif

Ya man... hypocrisy at its best. I'd be ashamed if I am Samsung, even their fans should be.

Agreed. The only way not be lose too much is if you really want the free gifts or you sell those free gifts as soon as you receive them, otherwise yeah, being an early adopter for Samsung phones is sure fire rugi business. Oh, of course, there is the bragging rights, if people are still into that, hahaha. So given your stance on phone makers that don’t supply charging bricks, I guess you can add Samsung to your list of boycott, huh? Heh heh.. Let’s see if your beloved OnePlus follows suit bro smile.gif

I think most of you trying to justify the price hike did not consider that samsung actually reduced the RRP for the S21 series (in the US at least) . 256GB s21 ultra is still cheaper than 128gb S20 ultra last year hence the higher storage doesnt justify the price hike here.

And free gifts are for preorder only so that doesnt justify the price hike as well
