Based on the comparison I did earlier, indeed the Malaysian version is more expensive than others when compared with the same 256GB specs (+$50 in the US for example)

I personally think no point in getting S21+ as its size is similar to S21 Ultra this year, at least in terms of width which is important for 1 hand use. Either S21 or S21 Ultra, or get the S20+ which is more compact due to its side curve.

s21 series price is higher than last year s20 series, but storage is 256gb in s21, actually not really more expensive, somemore this year preorder gift is higher value.

I think most of you trying to justify the price hike did not consider that samsung actually reduced the RRP for the S21 series (in the US at least) . 256GB s21 ultra is still cheaper than 128gb S20 ultra last year hence the higher storage doesnt justify the price hike here.

And free gifts are for preorder only so that doesnt justify the price hike as well

one thing i like about Apple is that it allows me to create apple ID for different country, which allows me to download apps from different country. not sure if apple still allow this as I created those accounts few years back. whereas for Android now Google prompt me to insert phone number, and if it doesnt fall under the country you intend to select you would still end up with MY Play store.
