got an email from shop@samsung, saying it has been packed waiting for courier to pick up. also on website got updated to preparing dispatch. got that dhl tracking number too but they haven't update yet in tracking. haih

Chasing courts cs for whole week until now

their reply "Upon checking, the item status showing no stock and we are in the midst checking with our buyer on the status of your order"...really bad experience

I do feel that there are few reasons why the Pre-Order via Samsung Online Store is getting delayed
1) DHL took longer time to process the order.
2) Not enough ready stock to fulfill the Pre-Order due to MCO

I suspected that most of the stocks was delivered to Partners or Telco like Courts, SenHeng, SenQ which they delivered earlier that actual date.
Perhaps the demand for the direct order via  Samsung Online Store is more than their partners thus the stocks not enought to furfill.
I noticed something on the arrangement of delivery from Samsung Online Store.
For those who pre-order earlier was delivered by DHL eCommerce, and those who Pre-Order later was delivered by Pickupp.

Those who click on the url in the order page provided by Samsung probably have seen this screen .



Probably those delivery were screwed up by DHL, thus Samsung SDS swapped to another Courier (Pickupp) instead.

Just my assumption and from what i read and see here and from the experience of my friend who did pre-order with Samsung Online Store.

I have a feeling Samsung official store ships directly from another country thats why its slow...whereas SenQ, Maxis etc they ship from that country early beforehand.

That's the most plausible explanation, especially on the part where they have not enough stocks to fulfill the demand which is higher than Samsung's expectation.

Another interesting part is the manufactured date of my phone...

i noticed the the phone manufactured date is pretty "new" and it is 2h days after my Pre-Order.. That is where my assumption of stock is not enough for the demand of the phone.
Perhaps you guys can share the manufactured date of your phone and when your phone sent out / from Samsung to support this assumption.

Anyone got use camera screen protector or tempered glass? Or just leave it like that?

I am using ringke fusion case and entire camera exposed without protection. Worry it will get scratched.

Is the camera glass using sapphire?

I also installed T-Max UV TG (from Shopee) last night, turned out a lot dust within the glue, and now the dust is all over the screen underneath. Fingerprint sensor also couldn't work despite putting a 50 cents coin on top of the scanner before curing it with UV light. At least, this TG is case-friendly with the official silicon case with S-Pen.

Can anyone recommended reliable good TG brand that can work with fingerprint scanner?
