Best bet is to wait for review. Samsung phones are notoriously known for value drop as fast as 2 months after its official launch. This doesn’t help with the facts that some employees who are eligible for the Samsung EPP buy them at cheaper prices and sell below RRP. Samsung MY should take note of this and ban those EPP products claimed not under the original purchaser to teach these leeches a lesson.

Those who buy from Courts can still redeem the free gifts or not?

Anyone who ordered from Courts manage to get their units yet?

Cancelled with Courts due to them not having stocks at all (have to wait till God knows when) and went to the Samsung Store and managed to get the additional one-year warranty inclusive of 1st year screen protection plus all the 3 gifts and one month waiver (worth 8% and must do EPP, lump sum pay won't get discount lol). Take note that the extended warranty FOC has branch-based quota.

I think those who missed out the PO this is the best deal to get.

S21 Ultra 512GB Black last unit. For S21+ i believe they did have a few stocks left. Location JB. I suggest you call a few stores first before going in your area. Thats what I did. Just Google Samsung Store and it will show nearby stores in your area and just call them one by one. I did call like a few stores just now, some Stores told me no more free Extended Warranty (branch quota finished) and i wanted the extra warranty (it would make it a better deal than the Courts one). So ended up calling like every store till i get what i wanted.

For S21+ you can change the 1st year screen crack warranty and extended warranty for the 2nd year with Galaxy Buds Pro according to a Store i called just now. For S21 Ultra you cant opt for the Buds Pro, weird. Anyway I rather have the warranty rather than the Buds Pro.

I called Courts CS and i was kinda being firm with them as i ordered on their site hoping that the stock was ready otherwise why would i buy something that is not ready stock as this aint a PO no more and the CS , if he was to be believed told me straight away that they might expect shipments from Samsung MY from 20th onwards (estimated) coz they already enquired from Samsung MY and they couldnt give any ETA (of coz according to this Court guy la). Hell no i wanted to wait for that long unless they gave me RM2000 off the price. I straight told them to cancel my order and proceed with refund. If no stocks dont put on website as available la. You go see Samsung MY now you cant even buy S21 Ultras as they are already out of stocks. Courts is as bad as ever.

Must do EPP otherwise wont get the 8% discount (they call it as a one-month off waiver). I did enquire about this.

EPP with supporting banks is 0% bro. No interest charge. I guess the banks want you to pay installments so theres a chance that you might be defaulted during this Covid time and they can make money out of you lor. What else do these banks want? Lel

They will register it straight away for you and you'll get like a Warranty Certificate stating that your device is covered with the warranty extension till the expiry date.

Each branch apparently has their own quotas, meaning if the quota is reached then the free Extended Warranty is no more lor.

Could be production not ramping up as it was in pre-Covid period or could be people buying whatever little stocks that they have due to the endless lock down.

Either way it's a good phone. The screen is really good and crisp and I use it more often than my iPhone 12 Pro Max.

On another note, the Official Leather Case feels less 'refined' than the Apple ones. It's slippery and hard to the touch.

If you ask me you better off buying from Samsung themselves via walk-in coz you can get a better deal than buying from Courts.

Anyone uses X One Screen Protector on their S21 Ultra? Care to share some insights. The free one attracts smudges a lot.

I've used Samsung phone Z Fold2 and tablet S7+ with last gen SD 865+ processors and as far as differences go in real world, none. In fact, I'm surprised on how buttery smooth the experience has been and still is on the latest OneUI 3.1 on the S21 Ultra. Battery life is great, screen is damn sharp and bright. Don't know what's the fuss is all about sometimes with dudes trying to compare everything

Fold2 is a very good phone but I prefer something more conventional in regards to daily usage. If you want a phone that does it all, then go for the Fold2. But it can't match the battery life of the S21 Ultra of course. You have to babysit the phone though, the inner screen is something that people who have long fingernails, or sometimes like to swipe hard and use their nails on the screen, shouldn't get.

I don't have long fingernails but sometimes I swipe hard on my phones.

Keep your S21 Ultra and wait for the Fold3. But it's really up to you. Why waste your money when you already own the S21 Ultra?

Go with what you want then. Each of these phones has its own pros and cons. Don't think if you choose one over the other it would make you not able to sleep at night. If you haven't tried the Fold2 and really eager with that, then your choice is obvious. I always try something new myself, and for me the only thing to understand or feel it better is to experience it myself.

If your phone already cooled down or coming from a cold boot, then it gives this score, better you claim for warranty.

Cool down your phone in a way that it comes from a cold boot or has been idling for some time. If you just restart your phone, the heat before the restart could've been there still. If you really care about the numbers that is. But if your phone comes from a cold state, then you still get low scores, then something might be wrong with either your chip or the cooling system.

Exactly what they told me before. 20th onwards. 20th only reach warehouse, sending out would take days judging by their speed of doing things. Not entirely their fault though, MCO and whatnot.

Thank God I refunded mine and went for the Samsung Walk-in better offer. Refund took days also, their CS is on the WhatsApp and they weren't that responsive.

Up to a week plus. Slow because whether you could get in touch with their CS only.

After they approve, and their online sale team had been informed, maybe took another 1-2 days, then got an email from iPay88, and wait another a day, then only it reflects on your account. I paid using my CC.

I didn't wait for the amount to be reflected back before buying another one. They will honor the refund if requested.

Not that cheaper la but still got the 8% discount if opt for installment, and one thing Court didnt give is the extra 1-year warranty.
