I ordered my S21 Ultra on 1/2 via Samsung official site and was informed that the delivery will happen after 8/2 due to strong demand. Gave a call to Samsung hotline and was told the same thing too. Hopefully they will deliver before CNY.

I called Samsung hotline this morning and was told that the stocks are ready but the parcels may be picked up and delivered tomorrow. If that's the case, I hope they will still deliver before CNY.

I called Samsung again and they said it's pending pickup by courier services. Looks like it's not gonna be delivered before CNY starts.

Unfortunately the order can't be cancelled nor a self pick-up option is allowed, guess I have no choice but to wait.

For those who pre-order earlier was delivered by DHL eCommerce, and those who Pre-Order later was delivered by Pickupp.

Those who click on the url in the order page provided by Samsung probably have seen this screen .

Probably those delivery were screwed up by DHL, thus Samsung SDS swapped to another Courier (Pickupp) instead.

Just my assumption and from what i read and see here and from the experience of my friend who did pre-order with Samsung Online Store.

That's the most plausible explanation, especially on the part where they have not enough stocks to fulfill the demand which is higher than Samsung's expectation.

Yup, I have been speaking to their hotline and all they said is they are expediting all orders and it's pending pick up by courier services.

Looks like they are facing shortage of stock not just on Samsung official store, but also on authorised resellers.

As CNY eve is a busy period, it seems like the delivery of my S21 Ultra gets delayed again to another working day. Sigh.

I finally received my phone and have been using the phone with normal usage (internet browsing, watching Youtube videos etc.). I didn't realise any overheat issue and the temperature seems to be normal, will monitor for a few more days and see.
