Celcom say my line already activated and ask me to select VoLTE at phone setting. Do we need to enable it at the phone?

Just got the VoLTE after the call. Have to restart the phone only appear.

So you got it working already?

I also installed T-Max UV TG (from Shopee) last night, turned out a lot dust within the glue, and now the dust is all over the screen underneath. Fingerprint sensor also couldn't work despite putting a 50 cents coin on top of the scanner before curing it with UV light. At least, this TG is case-friendly with the official silicon case with S-Pen.

Can anyone recommended reliable good TG brand that can work with fingerprint scanner?

Thanks.

This is what I always fear. It's always very hard to find a TG that can still allow the fingerprint reader to work reliably after applying. From what I heard from last gen S20, only Whitestone Dome works well with fingerprint reader.

Starting off with the most hyped up part of the new SoCs (mea culpa), both SoCs are the first to employ Arm’s newest Cortex-X1 cores, the first CPU generation in which Arm really went for a more “performance first” design philosophy. In general, the new CPU IP does live up to its claims, however Arm’s and our own performance projections weren’t met by the new SoCs, as they didn’t quite reach the configurations and clock frequencies we had hoped for 2021 designs. Both Qualcomm and Samsung didn’t invest on an 8MB L3 cache, and in particular Samsung didn’t even don their X1 core with a full 1MB of L2 cache. This does seem to be noticeable in the performance as the Snapdragon 888 does have small performance edge over the Exynos 2100. Samsung’s choice here given their years of wasting lots of silicon on humongous custom CPUs seems to be rather puzzling, but generally both vendors aren’t as aggressive as Apple is on investing die area into caches.

- both sd888 and ex2100 are first-gen designs, not optimizing X1 cores. but ex2100 even less so.

QUOTE
Qualcomm still has a clear memory subsystem advantage as the company has made large strides in latency this generation, and this results in even more extra performance. The Exynos this year surprised us with a much larger system level cache – which however seems to also add to latency and reduce performance.

More worrisome for the Exynos is its weird clock behaviour, with the new chip really struggling in maintaining its peak frequencies other than for very brief moments – the Snapdragon 888’s X1 core had no such issues. My Exynos S21 Ultra chip bin was quite terrible here, but the better silicon on my second S21 doesn’t improve things too much either.

QUOTE
Although both are using the same IP on the same process node, the Exynos 2100’s CPU just look to be more power hungry than the Snapdragon 888’s implementations. Given the apples-to-apples comparison, the only remaining possibility is just a weaker physical design implementation on Samsung LSI’s part

as of now, both sd888 and ex2100 are lacking behind the kirin and bionic.
the smart money would wait for another year at least before qualcomm improves their design and couple more years before samsung chips can catch up.

I think arun method of testing is wrong
Nobody use like that in real life
Benchmark app vs real app
Better trust real life performance
*
do you know the oldest day that how we doing benchmark on PC? this kind of benchmark could foreseen upcoming year usage its not only for current
30fps vs 27fps is extreme different for sensitive person and many reason. >6%-10% performance are big leap.

overall result is out, even actual game testing snapdragon out-beat exynos even long gaming hour... you can denied it or excuse it but it is what it is and be happy what you bought. some youtuber try using 2.5D game showing that exynos better then snapdragon but that is terrible comparison because 2.5D/2D game consume cpu (exynos have better cpu) power way more then 3D game.

cmon, make sure understanding tech before making false disclaim.

Very difficult to recommend now since this phone just been released. You should have kept the original SP preinstalled with the phone which has been optimized to work with the fingerprint.

The original one is just a thin plastic layer, not optimal for long term use. Anyway tempered glass doesn't work because of the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

At least the thin plastic layer can still give some protection alongside the gorilla glass victus

That's bad. TG doesn't seem to work reliably then. sad.gif I've never liked soft type screen protectors anyway but the stock film is actually pretty decent.

I do feel that there are few reasons why the Pre-Order via Samsung Online Store is getting delayed
1) DHL took longer time to process the order.
2) Not enough ready stock to fulfill the Pre-Order due to MCO

I suspected that most of the stocks was delivered to Partners or Telco like Courts, SenHeng, SenQ which they delivered earlier that actual date.
Perhaps the demand for the direct order via Samsung Online Store is more than their partners thus the stocks not enought to furfill.

I noticed something on the arrangement of delivery from Samsung Online Store.
For those who pre-order earlier was delivered by DHL eCommerce, and those who Pre-Order later was delivered by Pickupp.

Those who click on the url in the order page provided by Samsung probably have seen this screen .

Probably those delivery were screwed up by DHL, thus Samsung SDS swapped to another Courier (Pickupp) instead.

Just my assumption and from what i read and see here and from the experience of my friend who did pre-order with Samsung Online Store.

I have a feeling Samsung official store ships directly from another country thats why its slow...whereas SenQ, Maxis etc they ship from that country early beforehand.

That's the most plausible explanation, especially on the part where they have not enough stocks to fulfill the demand which is higher than Samsung's expectation.
