For me, i did not notice any sound issue, but my previous save game for the grand campaign still ctd if i continue to attack copenhagen or the huron in us. Is it suppose to start a new campaign for the patch to be effective? or can continue the old save game? anyone still have any ctd issues?

There are still other ctd issues...On Huron..people have reported it still crashes...I'm not sure if it crashes if you start a new game though.

just formatted my pc, and want to reinstall the game, but damn steam update is taking so damn long

dammit, this game really not stable, sometimes, okay, sometimes will CTD even with the new updates applied.. haih

I am very sure its becoz of some sound coding issue... after the latest patch 100% crash after mannual Naval Battle. I disable the sound (master) in option just after the naval battle ended and it runs smoothly. Havent try any land battle yet.. but i believe doing this to certain extend will prevent CTD.

Played for a few hours on Saturday. No issues with the sound effects and voices after patching.

The sound effects of the cannons are awesome!

Another CTD for me when trying to merge a group of ships.

Bugged units in a corrupted save is the one that cause the End Turn, unit clicking and unit merging to crash.

Starting a fresh campaign seems ok for me so far.

I never had any sound issue since day 1 because I'm not using onboard lame crap audio

Im even got BSOD while installing the game.

Trying few times, then finally can install it.

But my game will crash right after the war at land or I try move my ship.

Im using my old save game from the ***** version, love the game, and I buy original right away.

Should I start new campaign?

Crashing after battle when returning to campaign map is caused by the sound dll in the latest patch.

Turn off the sound before exiting the battle will not crash.

any of u guys receive Fatal Error - not enough video memory? and CTD?
I'm using Vista Ultimate x64 with 4GB of RAM and 1GB GC

me.....im using vista 86 with 4gb ram and 768gb video ram..

i got tired of that error and stopped playing

i have my copy installing now:P

The more i read about the CTD issues and the sound issues, the more doubt I have in buying it. As my computer is only mid range with 4g RAM and GT8800 GC, i dont want to spend hundreds and ends up with frustration.
