just by looking at the promotional video I doubt the cushion is made from high quality foam/ sponge. I think it will loose its sponginess very soon and you will feel like sitting on a piece of wood/ plastic

Planning to buy Sihoo M57 without the leg rest from taobao. Sihoo Flagship store products are more expensive than some of the shops who claim that they sell factory direct outlet products. Any thought on this?

Other than that, black mesh is cheaper than grey mesh. If i buy grey mesh, kinda worried that the chair will get visually dirty real quick. Better all black, cant see, then i wont know it is dirty, am i right?

If buy from factory direct outlet shop and ship to Malaysia using 3rd party logistic, total cost is less than RM650.

For this price point, it's either u buy new from unknown China brand or buy secondhand from a reputable office chair brand.

Hygienic opinion differs From one to another, but mostly just an excuse.

Some thinks a secondhand phone is unhygienic, but we can just sanitise/clean the whole phone. Is it still unhygienic ?

Same with a chair. And also not to mention any public chair, transport, vehicle, and so on.

A simple google search shows fake exists, but it’s all poor quality no where looking like the real thing.

Anyways, For authenticity check just > this two is good enough. Herman millers size is denoted by the number of bumps and underneath the chair there’s the manufacturing details.

chair arrived, took about 10 mins to install (will be a bit hard if you have no strength because the seat is heavy)
feels great so far, seems like very low risk of having my butt busted by the gas cylinders

chair was rm1327, delivery via taobao itself was rm146
bought on 2nd august, got it on 16th august

Maybe you can pay them a visit to try out the size C, as my brother suggest me to avoid size C due to the fact that it quite big for us Malaysian. He is currently using a size B Aeron.

Read more than 10 pages of the discussion in finding the perfect ergonomic chairs haha.

I am trying to find an ergonomic chair to fix my bad posture throughout this WFH situation. 1.5 years too late but yeah...

1. Budget would be below RM1k if possible.
2. Key function would be armrest ,lumbar support, head rest.
3. Used in non-AC room majority of the time

Any suggestions based on these criterias? Currently looking at Alterseat (CG-700 because of full mesh seating/not hot) or (CG-007 - the latest model but fabric seat). Cant try in their showroom due to MCO, checked with their cust. service, they are still not opening despite MCO relaxation SOPs.

Also notice some of you suggested Merryfair, but haven't really thought about it. Hence, any suggestions would be really appreciated!

Edit: Checked out the Merryfair, seems good as well especially Fulcrum which is within my budget and Anggun which is cheaper, but the bad side is they are on holiday at the moment (read someone mentioned they will only be back in Oct(?))

Also, Alterseat recline can only be locked at 3 preset options, normal, 20 and 40 degrees.

Ah, yea, the "gaming" version have the blue back. essentially it's the same chair but it has quite a few differences:
i) logitech version vs pre march 2021 version, Logitech ones have 10mm foam on the seat pan and the back also has extra foam (many complains regarding this one as the back foam kinda dig into the back, haven't tried this version so can't verify for sure)
ii) logitech vs post march 2021, post march 2021 version has a scrim foam layer, also 10mm to make the seat pan more comfortable.

fabric wise, better try them in person, I didn't like the default one, the sync I think, too slippery and not that breathable IMO. I opt for the balance fabric which was much more durable, breathable n cushy

My size is Size A yo. but based on all the measurements, seats depth and etc... I think Size A will be very small and no rooms for extra maneuvers. I will opt for Size B.
How much is the discounted price? you mean the one they showed on the website? Currently it's selling at RM6.1K. Already got stocks for Size B by the way.

Ahaha, welcome to the club. Sadly I don’t own one, I bought for friends only. I don’t think you can get a better chair at this price range be it used or new.

Unless you’re willing to fork at least rm600 for a chair perhaps. Or maybe Ikea Markus if you’re tall enough. But this chair offers for customisation to suit more people. Higher chance it won’t go wrong.

Let's B is way better than markus. Build quality top notch, seat is very nice.

Only downside is let's b will creak a bit after a few years. Nothing WD40 couldn't fix.
