never use taobao own forwarder. They will listerally throw ur stuff unless you are using air shipping. Seriously, none of my shipment with taobao own forwarder came in 100% good condition. They overcharged, damage my item to an extend i need to use dispute every time. I sugest you look for third party if it is still possible.

Yeah mine was under RM800 including shipping but wasn’t from taobao. Previously I managed to get it directly from Sihoo themselves because I did a bulk buy with some friends.

anyone want to enquiry about third party cost, can check this thread and ask for quotation. I asked for the sihoo m18 but cost around rm200 and take 3 weeks to arrive for sea shipping.

I got an ergonomic chair for myself because previously my back was pain when using those standard low back office chairs for long hours.

Now so far so good.

the adjustability is really good. it has everything.

-the whole backseat can be adjusted up and down.
-lumbar support can be adjusted
-armrest is the so called 4D armrest, the only complain i have is , it cant be lowered enough, but thats just me. as i want to sit as high as possible, and lower armrest to get as near to my monitor/ table.
-the whole seat could be slide out.
-incline as usual
-the chair can go as high as 53cm. (8cm adjustability, if you like markus that can sit high, you will like this)

at this price point i dont think there is any chair offering as many adjustability as this chair

not too many metal parts, if you want a super heavy rock solid chair, for strangers to abuse for years in public area, you might get disappointed. (you need to DIY assemble, so, super heavy metal is not practical for DIY, hence the expensive options are usually semi assembled for you)

but it is alright for personal use.

comparing this to markus, markus seat are firmer/thicker. but if you are not a heavy person, you dont feel this.

if you are looking for a chair at rm500 range. get this over ikea markus.

if you have rm1000-2000, go for the popular options. the main difference is the super heavy rocksolid metal base and the metal seat and back frame.

If it’s neck pain you can try to use neck pillow to support or try to move around every 15 minutes or so.
If your chair is not giving you back pain then shouldn’t be an issue la.

Would anyone know, if I buy a chair from Singapore, what would the tax be like?

My own review after usage of a week or so:

Pros:
1.) Good value for money
2.) A lot of adjustment option
3.) Mesh is very breathable
4.) Seller service is alright after sales(Mine lack one washer)
5.) Easy to install

Cons:
1.) Seat back adjustment don't lock on low angle
2.) Minimum height now low enough for my height
3.) No mark centerline on where to install headrest

I saw some previous discussion on 2nd hand Steelcase Let's B. I pmed the guy on carousell & got the chance to try out the chair at the warehouse. For RM280 each, i think its a steal. I cant think of any other chair at that price point that gives simillar feel & quality. The back support is also sturdy.

I booked 2 units, probably to be delivered by next week.

The seller told me that the chairs were used by some office in Penang back then, roughly 6 months of usage then the company downsize due to MCO. This will be the only batch of Steelcase chairs, if all sold out then no more already
