QUOTE(veiven @ Jul 30 2021, 04:12 PM) Sorry, wasn't meant as a bad impression of Chinese quality. I mean perhaps you can narrow down which brand it comes from and get reviews from there. Most chairs under RM1,000 would be either be fully or partially manufactured in China. Personally if the budget for a chair is below RM500, better just get one from IKEA as you'll be getting a new chair that's usually warranted for 10 years, if within the first 6 months or so you decide it isn't for you then if you list it on Mudah or Carousell you will definitely get back at least 2/3 of your money. |

QUOTE(veiven @ Jul 30 2021, 04:56 PM) Ok I might give Sitzone a tryReviews from Taobao seems good Because my criteria is full mesh within a budget. Seems like they're the only one offering that. Otherwise have to go upwards to 2k+ for Ergohuman This post has been edited by ZeneticX: Jul 30 2021, 05:29 PM |

QUOTE(veiven @ Jul 30 2021, 04:56 PM) Agreed. I bought grey color used without looking at it and it came basically brand new. Nothing seems like it was used. Seem like that office they got it from didn't really use the chairs and got shut down veiven liked this post

The Taz will have recline feature. All chairs that has recline feature will have that cylindrical knob mechanism at the front bottom of the chair. I doubt it can recline anything more than 15degrees though. |

QUOTE(jomonista @ Jul 22 2021, 09:14 PM) Finally bought a chair. Decided on Zenpro Trendy for 600. I don't know where they source the chair though because as far as I know they are not a manufacturer. I'll post a detailed review here once I tried it out. So far how’s the chair? Im also looking at trendy aluminium base but not sure whether to pull the trigger. But one apparent thing, my butt is sweating a lot on the cushion. I wonder if this is unavoidable for a fabric cushion type. Are the more expensive chair like Steelcase Leap etc similarly sweaty? I choose fabric cushion over mesh seat because I thought it will be more comfortable, but I am a bit regretting my decision. |

anyone who had tried Sihoo M57... is it worth getting the variant with footrest?
btw not really a pro with shopping on taobao... what does it mean by third party courier? Meaning not the default courier provided by the shop? Because I tried checking out a Sihoo M57 on taobao, the postage is like 17 RMB? But I've seen some here who said using third party will cost up to RM200 This post has been edited by ZeneticX: Aug 2 2021, 12:58 PM |

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Aug 2 2021, 12:37 PM) I've tried the M57, but my version is without footrest. I got it for under RM800. At that price, I personally think that it has the best price/value ratio among the other ergonomic chairs out there.I like how it's full mesh, so it's more cooling. Especially with the hot weather these past few weeks, haha. QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Aug 2 2021, 12:37 PM) btw not really a pro with shopping on taobao... what does it mean by third party courier? Meaning not the default courier provided by the shop? RMB17 is actually the starting price for consolidated shipping through sea. You'll need to refer to the pricing table to get a proper estimate of the cost.Because I tried checking out a Sihoo M57 on taobao, the postage is like 17 RMB? But I've seen some here who said using third party will cost up to RM200 Third party courier/forwarding agents basically help you ship your products to Malaysia. Sometimes people go with them because they offer cheaper shipping/ more flexible arrangements. These are some of the forwarding agents I found when researching how to get my chair to Malaysia. But from what I remember, it's more expensive to use Taobao's forwarder, that's why I used 3rd party.
