QUOTE(jomonista @ Jul 7 2021, 11:02 PM) Anyone has experience with this chair before? Just a few reply above you mentioned he got a M57 for 600 something. Maybe you can pm him for more details on it? M57 definitely better than M18. Will suggest you hold the trigger until he got his chair and made his review on it.https://takeaseat.my/ergonomic-chair-malays...r-with-legrest/ Googling around, it seems to be a rebranded version of Sihoo M18. (Some Lazada reviewer even said that they don't even bother to change the box). For the price, I would like more than a 1 year warranty only, but it seems that this is the only office chair that I find has leg rest below 1k. Edit: Found 1 detailed review on Sihoo M18(without the footrest). https://ergonomictrends.com/sihoo-ergonomic...e-chair-review/ Seems like it's a good enough chair with few downside such as mediocre tilt function or headrest easily moving around. But in terms of comfort seems to be good enough for the price. Personally, I would like to have the chair to be able to tilt more than 120deg, especially when it has legrest to support. Any idea for alternative? If there is no good choice within the budget, I guess I may consider extending to 1.5k mark if it's really good. Else for that price range... I cant really think of any with a leg rest. Maybe buy a separate foot rest? |

QUOTE(wcypierre @ Jul 1 2021, 04:49 PM) The 3 locked angle is definitely a cons. I find an angle that is suitable for me but I can't go there due to the lock. @wcypierreFor a better back, the second one is the better choice. The 3rd position is too far back, without leg rest, your feet will be numb (don't ask me why I know you just need to lean your back on it, don't keep exert force on your back or else will have spine pain like what you said (again, don't ask me why I know Its either your table, or how you put your arms. If your keyboard is at the middle of the table then it will be an issue like what you said. Yup its pretty common, and in the ideal sitting position, you won't use the headrest so yeah. My ideal backrest position so far is right in between the 1st and 2nd position, which unfortunately no options to lock them in that position. My arms are slightly shorter compared to people with the same height as me. When I'm in the first position, with the arm rest touching the table, I only have my palms on the table. Yes, not even the wrist. Second position feels better for my back, though I could still feel the hard lumbar pressing my spine. With this position, I have only half of my palms on the table. Ideally we should have at least the wrist resting on the table, or else will end up with sore wrist and shoulder. It would be good if the arm rest could be pushed back by one inch further back. The second position is the better one for the back (around 100-120 degree iirc) as it distributes the stress evenly to the back. QUOTE With this position, I have only half of my palms on the table. I cant really think of any with a leg rest. Maybe buy a separate foot rest? But I need to buy from a proper store so I can claim it to the company 😅 And yea I already started to look for a good adjustable foot rest. Seems to be around 150 ringgit which is more expensive than I thought. Btw, is 120° good enough for relaxing and watching movies on PC after work? Considering Anggun as well but the reclining degree put me off a bit compared to Alterseat etc. Hopefully government allow furniture store to be opened soon because it's really hard to make a decision without testing, so need to depends on others experience. Just my 2sen contribution. An expensive ergo chair will do squat if your sitting and working ergonomics is already wrong. Most people are working with laptops which are ergo red flags. Try to raise the laptop or an external monitor at right height and use an external keyboard. Then sit close to the table with correct height. Add a foot rest if you are short (this will reduce pressure on the thighs) 20 years ago as IT admin, I had switched everyone to laptops and all the older folks starting to complain about back, neck and shoulder stress. I worked with my universities physiology department for guidelines for worker ergonomics, health and safety. What we found wasn't the chair. But how people sat while working. Of course a good chair will be more comfortable but that may not be the root cause. Hope this helps. ahmadkhairil liked this post

The RM5k for 2 promotion had ended a few months ago. No idea on RM1.5k promo - seems like a steal at that price, maybe it's a corporate price. Check out second hands on Carousell too if you don't mind used chairs. This post has been edited by un.deux.trois: Jul 11 2021, 04:09 PM |

Secretlab TITAN Evo 2022 out now for 1.7k.
Worth it? Seems like it got a proper lumbar support this time. Btw why does Secretlab able to ship their newly released product during this time, while other chair shops like Merryfair not be able to? |

Used to be a fan of secretlab, but not very pleased with their quality after buying 2 chairs over the span of 8 years
1) 1st chair was the standard secretlab with p.u leather - p.u leather peeled off after a year, and it looks horrible 2) ordered the second secretlab chair - titan with nappa leather. Very expensive and as Malaysia did not have this model, had to order it on the sg site and have it shipped here. Leather was fine but overall the chair was hard as a rock. (read the reviews online) - very uncomfortable after extended periods. Right now using okamura contessa seconda, couldn't be happier. The chair costs more than the two secretlab chairs combined, but it's well worth the investment. |

![]() I know gaming chairs are frowned upon, I also had my bad experiences mostly due to leather peeling off, DXracer just released this full mesh chair. Price is decent and looks good! What do you guys think? https://www.techarmory.my/v3/air_line?product_id=82 |

Anyone has experience with this Zenpro Trendy chair?
https://product-ecatalog.com/zenpro/product.php?p=152 https://shopee.com.my/product/322543533/3687621206 The seat seems so thick at 75mm, but no mention of density. Also the armrest is only 2D which is too bad. The chair seems a bit bigger for my liking based on measurement, but is it good enough for someone 162cm? ![]() |
