What's the best deal for Steelcase Leap v2? I saw on first page that can get for 1.5k with promo, but best I've seen in this thread is buy 1 get 1 free for around 5k.

I do contact zenpro facebook yesterday but they told me can buy from this website www.ely.com.my, which cost RM 3.4k with headrest and is out of stock.

L came by to my house yesterday to help me remove the Steelcase Leap headrest, which I will maintain till the end of time is the worst headrest in the world but once removed gives rise to one of the finest chairs on the planet 😂

Oh no I didn’t! You don’t like the adjustable lumbar support? I find that to be one of the hugest selling points of the chair tbh xD The headrest no way that thing is a disaster… Got us a few laughs and was an interesting networking opportunity though!

Honestly my Steelcase purchase was unique all the way through - bought the thing, GDEX stole the chair that was supposed to be shipped to me (or lost it along the way) despite the fact that I paid close to 200 in shipping (which shows you just how valuable the free shipping promo is), and ELY actually sent me a new one because I put on my angry customer face and demanded that they send by the date itself, so they basically sucked it up and sent one via Lalamove, then came the headrest issue.

I’m probably their most problematic customer to date, so if ever you want to talk to any of the ELY people, you can ask them about my strange tale and they’ll know what’s up 👌

Just got it, and so far so good.
With only fan and without aircon, I would say little hot, but bearable.

Found a sticker underneath the seat pad, it says made in malaysia, photo a bit blur.

Just managed to try out the Steelcase Leap in Penang Island and I bought it with the headrest option. It is super comfortable and the support from the chair is great. It is like the chair is "hugging" you. And at my height of ~174cm, the headrest was just nice to support my neck.
As for the Gesture, I'm not sure how to put it, but it just feels more comfortable sitting in the leap.
Anyway, no chance to try any HM chair in Penang afaik.

And I got to know as well that Intel Penang did supply their WFM employees previously with the Steelcase Series 2 and for employees with back issue, the Leap.

Now, waiting for payment and delivery. lolx

I got it for RM3.8K, reasonable? I will try that when I receive it. generally I do like some good lumbar supporr.

Any idea where to repair HM chair?  I think the needed part is called hip pivot bolt. Possible to find this in Malaysia ?
