Sihoo is great bang for buck. Quality feels beyond what u actually paid for it. The fact that some local brands like Space rebrands M57 and sells it for 1k+ speaks a lot
Can't comment about Merryfair since I never tried them
Hi Chair experts. I'm (175cm) and currently using this DXracer chair for my bedroom but would like to get a ergonomic / gaming chair for my work space as company decided to restart WFH.
My requirements would be:
1) Lumbar support 2) Neck support 3) Able to recline like my DXracer

How long it takes normally for the mesh back to become loose?
Seems like it’s harder to support the back when the mesh is loose
Really depends on the quality. If it's just a few hundred bucks one, you can expect it to slightly run out of shape/sag within a year or 2, depending on usage also.
You do get what you pay for. The good quality mesh really feels different from the getgo.

bought mine like 3 years+ back around RM3xx I think
am looking for replacement now while oso waiting(?) for promotion/discount/offer
I used to own a sturdy solid wood computer chair from Ikea, can't remember the price of it but should be around the range of RM900+, which has lasted me for almost 20+ years. The reason I had to throw it away is that the recent flooding caused the wood to get damaged.
As it isn't with me now, and I can't find any pictures for it online, it's quite difficult for me to tell any more information regarding it. Ikea stuff isn't all bad though, make a trip there and test out the chairs, you may find one you need.
That's around the price i saw in shopee. Seller is an authorized dealer. Have you tried out which chair that suits you best? I have a Steelcase Gesture though and i love it.

Personally prefer Think but also more expensive
Not sure if I want to get the headrest though
It’s better than Series 2 but i would prefer if it’s smaller

It depends on how much time you spend sitting on the chair. Most of the time when you're working you don't lean on the chair that much. You'll only use the headrest when you're fully leaning and resting on it.
