QUOTE(BlackPen @ Dec 29 2021, 09:14 AM)
Hi, currently I'm looking for a gaming chair / ergonomic chair for my work desk. Work at home at night (about 2 hours) and my wife WFH 2 days a week.

Height 183cm (me) and 160cm (wife)

I'm not sure a gaming chair is considered an ergonomic chair  rclxub.gif both chairs (gaming / ergonomic) seem comfy to me.

I'm more prefer fabric or mesh instead of PU / leather.

What's on my mind are:-
Razer Iskur (RM1550) - multi layer synthetic leather
Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 Softweave (RM1850) - Softweave plus fabric
Flexispot Ergochair 2.0 / Ergoscale (RM 1399 / RM 1099) - Mesh type

the above all comes with lumber support

Budget RM1,500+-. Any recommendation?

I'm a Sihoo M57 user, and I would recommend its higher level counterpart i.e. Sihoo V1: https://sihoo.com.au/products/sihoo-v1-ergo...ic-office-chair (link for the product description)
I think it's still in your budget(?)

The M57 seat is also too wide for me, so it's unfortunate that I cannot adjust the armrest inwards (no 4D adjustment). V1 has 4D adjustment smile.gif my full review here: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=ST&f...078823&st=1000#

I would say the most adjustable chair would be best for the both of you due to the difference in your body stature. I can't say for the ones you're looking into because I've never studies those models.

I have the secretlab titan regular size. It’s too big for my wife. She around 160 cm as well. The seat will be too long for her and the support won’t be as good.

I have the ergohuman and it’s good at 1900rm

And recently I bought my wife the sihoo m57 at rm700 plus. This one value for money. Build not as good as ergohuman but the functionality is on par. The lumbar support imo is more solid than ergohuman and way better than the titan. Titan one very little lumbar support.
Can consider this as I think for the value vs price it’s damn good.

I have tested razer iskur in midvalley tmt store and maybe that fits your choice. It’s smaller than titan regular but the lumbar support is way more pronounced in iskur. My wife didn test it though. Best you bring your wife there and both try but from what I tested it’s good.

Watch many review videos on youtube, I guess I will shortlist between this two.

DXRacer Air D7200 Series Premium Gaming Chair at RM 1499 (Mesh)
Anda Seat T-Pro II at RM 1599 (Fabric)

Anyone here purchased or tried these 2 chair? biggrin.gif

How funny, I bought from them in their shoplot early Dec and I asked whether they can offer any discount on par on the upcoming 12.12 sales at that time. They did, and assured me it'll be cheaper to buy from their shop directly. End result, I paid for more and they saved their platform commission. I did get a free delivery + installation by them as a consolation, I guess.

... I can only blame myself for being a non frequent Lazada shopper to know that there are many vouchers up for grabs, e.g. RM10 off per RM100 and other stackable buffs.

I did wait 3 weeks for the chair though as it was out of stock and had to wait for new shipment. And then the flood also delayed. As a result I bought 12.12 only got the chair on 3 jan

So maybe u paid more, but at least u got the chair right away and assembled.

Any idea whether if merryfair / alterseat will have promotion soon?

Bought alterseat cg07 plus. (Rm94x shipped)
Overall quite satisfied
The frame is made from nylon (?)
The part (with adjustment thing) connecting the seat to gas lift is also made from nylon (?) feels kinda cheap compared to all metal from my old dx racer. Upside is it’s much lighter and easier to install. Seems sturdy as well.

Base (with wheels) is made from aluminium. Design wise i feel like it looks cheap (kinda like rm300-400 chair, no offense lol). There’s black marking (oil?) on the outer aluminium tube in which the gas lift fit into, which makes me feel that the chair isn’t as premium/polished.

Overall i’m satisfied with what I paid for. Chair is quite comfortable (i’m obese 97kg 173cm). Just kinda disappointed the base arrived dirty with black oil markings.
And I hope that the seat can adjust front and back (depth?) without loosening the screws.

Packaging is good. No complain from me there. Shipping is quite fast (2nd day delivery to Melaka once i got the tracking number, shipped out 2 days after order).

How about the recline system? Multi angle or just 3 or 4 angle. Most office chair have 3 or 4 angle. The problem of office chair is from first angle to second angle are too far away.

Anyone here have secretlab chair. Multi angle or a few angle?

Over the weekend i went to test this chair, really comfortable since everything is adjustable to suit your body.
Like you advised, i added the legrest cause I do watch shows while sitting on an office chair so having that option is going to be very comfortable.
Only issue is that they don't have stock for black right now and have to wait for 2~3 weeks. third week of January they said.  cry.gif

Good eye! Someone said the same somewhere in this thread too, that they're OEM. I'd say there's no more reason to consider Evis when there are sellers on Lazada/Shopee already, at a much cheaper price. Previously you had to Taobao and ship from China directly... Which could be annoying if you needed to claim warranty cuz everything DIY.

you would be paying the additional to Evis for the warranty and support "if anything goes wrong with the chair"

Agreed but imo EVIS markup way too much, it is more than 35% markup ohmy.gif
This guy are selling at much competitive price, not as big EVIS https://shopee.com.my/aitsulab

Because car seat is meant for driving, not sitting and working on a desk.
