Does anyone have recommendation for a nice chair for someone that's :-

i) Female.
ii) 5'4" (1.63m)
iii) 34-24-36 body size.
iv) 55kg weight.

I've given her an Ikea Markus which she found to be very uncomfortable as the seat base is too big for her.

She would like something that's either mesh or leather and not black.

u may ask her try Merryfair Tune , not solid base like Wau but is good choice for height 160-170 because the back frame and head rest can adjust to match body height

how much did you pay for the wau 1 or 2?
Whatsapp quote was 1400 for Wau 1 and 1500 for Wau 2.
And I was thinking of buying 4 pieces, but no further discount

Plan to buy 1 for my 14 years old nephew, just because it has metal base. Those who bought before, how durable is the base? RM150 is a no-brainer.

https://www.officepro.my/office-chairs/ergo...p-m2-mesh-chair

Or any other alternatives? Just need a basic work chair like above, with metal base, for the kid to study at home.

Looks like it has a curved back for lumbar support, but it's non adjustable?

I've had my nightmare with a non depth-adjustable lumbar support, my back hurt more with it because it was poking against my back. Had to work around it by cushioning my back with a small pillow - I reckon doing so defeats the purpose of having it meshed. Your target user being 14 yo, he might also outgrow whatever comfortable feeling he has for the chair even if he tests sit that chair.

If you want to buy meshed seat then I'd recommend you to spend more to get an adjustable lumbar support - both height and depth. A good chair can last years, so it's a decent investment anyhow for the growing child.

Otherwise if you cannot afford to top up at all, then a simple wheeled office chair for your nephew isn't going to break his back since he's young.

Has anyone ever bought from this site?
https://shop.xtrafurniture.com/product/sylphy/
I find it weird they accept orders through whatsapp......
It'd be so much easier if they just made it an online store.

I did ask them before but the malay lady cannot speak properly so I didn't bother anymore for months.
I live in east malaysia so I'm worried about the shipping and payment etc.
They expect me to bank transfer. Isn't that dangerous?
Ask about shipping those I swear the lady doesn't even want to tell me how much and everything.

It's easy to know whether it's a legit company anyways.
This shop website also have been listed as an official distributor of Okamura, I would say they're completely legit.

It'd be better if I can hear people's experiences though. West malaysia they probably send through land but east malaysia more troublesome.
The fact that the lady don't even explain how the process is and her english is not good is already making me dulan.

TakeASeat (Malaysia) sponsored this TakeASeat Sail a while ago after a comment on my Secretlab x Aeron video, and I just released a review about it, which you can find down below!

Some pros and cons for those of you who don’t do videos for some reason:

>> Pros: <<

1. It’s a full mesh chair! The only other *full* mesh chair I’ve seen is the Aeron. As a full mesh chair, this one is very breathable, and the mesh is comfortable and supportive - it’s great if you are in a warmer climate.

2. Very adjustable, features many more adjustments than the price would suggest.

Specifically, this chair has a height adjustable backrest/lumbar support, has height and pivot adjustable headrest, 4D armrests, seat height, and also seat depth adjustment, which is pretty rare at this price point (RM1549 base price) here:

3. Comfortable on recline and also in general: The chair has a synchro tilt mechanism, which means that the angle of your legs broadly remains constant when you recline.

>> Cons: <<

1. Not an Aeron, which features higher quality mesh, comfort, and materials compared to this chair - though Aeron is about four times the price if you purchase it from TRAX, and also has no headrest.

Mesh is a little bit coarse, which can be an issue if for some reason you want to berbogel (SG friends, new vocab word LOL) x duduk on your chair.

2. 2 year warranty, which is definitely shorter compared to some companies like Herman Miller and Steelcase (12 years) or to Secretlab (3 + 2 = 5 years let me run away real quick while y’all prepare the pitchforks for mentioning Secretlab on an ergonomic chair group LOL).

3. Adjustment mechanism for backrest height takes some getting used to, because if you raise the back too high, it falls back down and you have to start again.

4. Foam padding near the front can collect dust, as James Madison attested to on a YouTube comment. Thanks for the feedback!

>> Overall: <<

This is a pretty comfortable and adjustable chair, and it’s great for the price point. It’s not an Aeron, but it does the job well, and also has certain features such as lumbar height adjustment and seat depth adjustment, which the Aeron does not have.

If you’re looking for a mid-budget full mesh chair with adjustable seat depth and lumbar/back height adjustment, this is a chair that’s definitely worth considering!

Hi, currently I'm looking for a gaming chair / ergonomic chair for my work desk. Work at home at night (about 2 hours) and my wife WFH 2 days a week.

Height 183cm (me) and 160cm (wife)

I'm not sure a gaming chair is considered an ergonomic chair rclxub.gif both chairs (gaming / ergonomic) seem comfy to me.

I'm more prefer fabric or mesh instead of PU / leather.

What's on my mind are:-
Razer Iskur (RM1550) - multi layer synthetic leather
Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 Softweave (RM1850) - Softweave plus fabric
Flexispot Ergochair 2.0 / Ergoscale (RM 1399 / RM 1099) - Mesh type

the above all comes with lumber support

Budget RM1,500+-. Any recommendation?

I have the secretlab titan regular size. It’s too big for my wife. She around 160 cm as well. The seat will be too long for her and the support won’t be as good.

I have the ergohuman and it’s good at 1900rm

And recently I bought my wife the sihoo m57 at rm700 plus. This one value for money. Build not as good as ergohuman but the functionality is on par. The lumbar support imo is more solid than ergohuman and way better than the titan. Titan one very little lumbar support.
Can consider this as I think for the value vs price it’s damn good.

I have tested razer iskur in midvalley tmt store and maybe that fits your choice. It’s smaller than titan regular but the lumbar support is way more pronounced in iskur. My wife didn test it though. Best you bring your wife there and both try but from what I tested it’s good.
