Hi. Want to ask about Western Digital/WD RMA for my SATA SSD, which is faulty and I already requested for RMA in WD site.

I have read the RMA instructions where I need to do a proper packing to make sure it is accepted and to avoid return. I found out the address to send my SSD is based in Shah Alam, an Agility Logistics office/warehouse, which just near to my location.

Now, I want to know whether if I can actually just walk-in to that address and return my SSD there directly without doing the packing; maybe give the unit to office and they can confirm my RMA number and all that, or do I still need to do the packing stuff, where I have to put the unit in ESD bag, with a box and printed labels, even if I choose to visit to office?

I wish I can skip getting the ESD bag, box-in and postage for now if the process can be simplified just by visiting the location for return, but need to confirm first since this is the first time I do the RMA for SSD.

I would say not to worry. The new MX500 comes with an updated package with the most up to date firmware. I have been running my MX500 for years too without issues.

i was cloning HDD to SSD,
insert SSD, initialize disk on disk management, without create partition
use Macrium Reflect clone, hidden system partition and windows partition
then fully shutdown windows, set SSD 1st boot,
but pc cannot boot, cannot found device to boot, insert boot mdeia and press any key

seems H not contains boot-able data 

Does not auto clone it?  So need boot to recovery, or sometime PE to make as boot?
As know windows will auto create partition, 100MB and 517MB is windows auto create one

my last cloning using Acronis got some setting to set before cloning to make it bootable if not mistaken... should you re-check it again that all tick before cloning 

but still prefer fresh install if the hardware not similar thou

Strange, normally should work if same PC. Macrium Reflect quite reliable. I use it quite a lot. Anyway I asked because when I upgraded from 7th gen to 12th gen processor/board, I use back the old SSD but the new board sees it but will not boot from it. In my case the reason was because the SSD partitions are MBR.

Did u alter ur bios setting after finish cloning?

SAMSUNG SSD 98 PCIe 3.0 NVMe M.2 SSD - (1TB) RM 590 good deal or should i just buy TRANSCEND MTE220 RM561?

Can help me to decide? I do play game and store games files which one should I choose samsung 970 evo plus 2tb ssd/mvme or 2tb mx500 crusial? Or other brands?
