For my ps4, I was using a third party wired controller.
No worries about battery life at all lol.

I’ll likely get another controller once the new design is out.

Any benefits for running a UPS with the PS5?
At worst, I just lose a couple of minutes coz I forgot to save right haha.

Depends on your gaming library and habits.
If you only play <5 games per year, you can go for the digital version. The symmetrical design is more appealing imo too.

But if you’re kind who collects >20 games (excluding ps+) per year.
Then a disc version might help.

I wanted a digital edition but couldn’t find any so ended with a disc version.
From Jan till now, I’ve not put a single disc into my ps5 lol.

I typically download games about 40-60GB
They download in about 15 minutes or so.

Speed test from my side is about 500mbps.
This is a weird combination of wired + moca (via the now outdated coaxial aerial cable)

5x slower = 1 hour and 15 mins for a typical game.
For a 90gb file like your fifa. Probably 2 hours?

There are rumors of a major gpu price fall at the end of the year.
But those remain rumors, and still a good chance gpu price won’t even be close to MSRP even in 2022

PS5 shortage is due to supply and scalping.
The same issue plagues the pc space too.

Changed my ps5 side plates to the dark plates.
Way less conspicuous now.

I would liked it more if the plates were more matte (reflect even lesser light) though.

That’s the most common reason for a ban I believe.
People selling their services and help many other players claim the free games.

Helping a few of your friends is alright

Helping 20+ people will flag your console for a ban.

I can’t guarantee it due to Sony policy might change anytime.

When my friends come over for multiplayer games, they did log into my ps5 and just claimed it since they’re already there.
Did it for like 2 friends and it’s fine.
It’s not uncommon for people to have multiple accounts.
So I doubt they will ban the ps5 for activating it on a few accounts.

Their terms seems fishy.
Full payment for a pre order doesn’t seem necessary.
If it’s really 2850, I highly doubt they’ll have any issues selling it if the original buyer bails.

It’s still really difficult to get a ps5 now. I’d say just go for whichever you can get.

Not bad.
Depending on your taste, but rgb lights might work well too with a transparent shell.

Too bad I can’t use a transparent shell.

There are different gamepass prices for Xbox and PC.
The one for PC is cheaper but with lesser games.

Hope no one here bought from them (gilagaming).

Already knew that their terms (full payment as deposit) was very fishy.

A lot of warning signs.
- full payment as deposit
- no physical or online shop
- quite a long waiting time.

I hope he refunds all who ordered. But chances for that to happen is less than 1%.

I hope they didn’t get the wrong person.

But if this is true, I find it extremely unlikely that a student is able to procure so many ps5 consistently and still make a profit.
So an intent to scam/run might have been there from the start.

Right now, I expect the typical response from him would be
1. “I’m a victim too”
2. “It was my supplier who scam me”
3. “I’ll refund everyone’s money if they promise to stop complaining/report”
4. I’ll refund everyone by batches. And the timeline will be weeks/months which keeps postponing.

I remember you did voice out caution earlier in September too. Hope our earlier message did dissuade some from buying from gilagaming.

I don’t buy this too
While this might be true on how he fulfilled his earlier batches.
I highly doubt anyone in Sony Malaysia can bring in a few hundred stock to fulfill his current orders.

There was a clear intent of scamming with the 100% deposit required.
Typical tactics have been employed too
1. Blame it all on the supplier
2. Give me time to refund. I’ll refund back slowly.

Worth getting now at half price or wait till 2022 and play it under gamepass?

If it’s just PSnow and PS+, that would be horrible.
Give us all the first party games on launch day and I’ll consider.
