AFAIK replacement units are separate. Been stalking the subreddit too and people with ps5 problems have been receiving their replacement units fast. Fingers crossed will be the same for us here.

anyone checked with sony sunway pyramid regarding collection this friday? need to arrange time to go there but until now still no call from them to confirm...

update.. called to check with sony pyramid, the person on phone say no confirmation on collection this friday.. still no news, collection in dec (dude.. i know la december, just want to know if it's 11th dec as per stated earlier).. cos ppl also need to arrange time to go mall to pickup ma... but then he also sounded quite noob

60fps is one of the main reason I upgrade, my slim version only can go 30fps.

haha my friend got me back into MH , just bought iceborne at discount and currently slogging it through the guiding lands and tyring to get fatalis also. Yeah I'm also excited to play it 4k 60fps. You can sometimes see the game go into a higher frame rate when you are near the monster and it fills up the screen obscuring a lot of elements ..

yup, i havent bought any games since FF7R, just want all games to play on ps5(GOT, TLOU2 and the coming cbp.2077)

i feel inferior playing games at 30fps on ps4 compare to PC players, this time, finally, 60fps is standard.

30fps is not that bad if it's consistent.

Unstable frame rate is the real killer. It affects the flow and our control of the game.

Like dark souls 3, you know you press the button, but the response to the game was slow cuz of fps dips. Or you press too fast cuz the game decided to pick up on fps again.

Games like HZD is still OK as it has very consistent 30fps with correct frame pacing. Your hand and eye coordination can adjust to the constant frame pacing.

Overall, 60fps >30fps

So nice. Sony centre still give generic answer. 😒

Just want an answer when so can arrange for time and logistics.

this is wrong. If you use it for internet it will be perfectly fine. The only issue people have had with ethernet cables is during data transfer.

There's been a lot of miscommunication about these problems. Ethernet is only a issue when transferring data, and the ethernet cable isn't even the problem, the data transfer itself is. Even then it seems to be people unplugging their consoles during data transfer because it freezes for a bit and they panic.

i will likely use ps+ cloud backup data to restore game data, so not an issue for me.

Some also reported that COD: Cold War, Spiderman: MM, GODFALL and also demon Souls breaking their system, but mostly i heard from is COD, so please do be aware of those games.
