I called this morning and they told me date of order. Regardless if full payment or not

Yeah the order of PO received. So start from 12th all the way down to latest one but subject to the stock allocation. So let's say for example if 100 people ordered on the 12th and you are #100 but they only receive 99 units this time, you will be slated for the next. The ones they call up will go to collect and/or settle full payment.

Called cause my PO is on 14th. High key hoping will get in the soonest batch.

AFAIK replacement units are separate. Been stalking the subreddit too and people with ps5 problems have been receiving their replacement units fast. Fingers crossed will be the same for us here.

Sony Centers have been taking a list of interest so you may try walking in. Branch I know of in this particular page is MV. Doubt they are taking deposits tho. Just give name and number and they will call you when pre-orders are open.

Just got out of Sony MV. They're sorting out receipts for everyone in the first batch from what it looks like. Pink slips everywhere. Guessing they're getting ready for the big day.

Erm, really hoping they will fulfill the orders of people who made their payments in November first before entertaining the new second-batchers. Been waiting for months, properly pissed off if they just let people cut queue like that.

Honestly, I've not been able to get a clear answer on this as well. Some say Jan 19 will get but calling up some retailers, some have said the ones who made the recent POs will probably get March? Cause stores want to fulfill first batchers.

On Jan 19 we see lah.

Messaged Sony MV on Facebook and they replied this:

"Hi, if we received any PS5 stocks during this period, we will arrange customer to collect their unit one by one (to avoid crowd) or send by courier ya."

Damn, I’m queue 9x too but they just told me "Hi, your collection will be after January batch." Wtf

Not gonna lie, it's quite fucked up they are fulfilling these new orders WAY ahead of people who have pre-order back in 2020. This is not on the people who have bought but 100% on Sony and their distributors. How is it fair that people have been waiting for months to receive units only to have new orders cut their queue?

Yes. Honestly especially from a "Sony Centre" in a major mall I did not expect to being going through more headache than third-party retailers. No updates, close to nothing communication. Full payment since November and getting zip from them. Only got so much as a vague "after Jan batch maybe" response. Wtf is this??
