Pre-order something and then wait for it to come is nice .Because you have something to look forward in life .

But just dunno why, this PS5 thing I think its "too much" looking forward maybe? Maybe too over?
1.Keep waiting pre-order announcement where Singapore got it first, then everyday see people hentam Sony Malaysia Facebook page. That period last for about 2 months at least.
2.Then pre-order details announce ,everyone excited and go to the shop to ask. Most shop said haven't got details here and there, waiting for announcement. That day 11th-12th Nov 2020 is the most happening day.
3.After pre-order, then scare your shop disappoint you, some people said their pre-order got cancelled, then start doubt your own pre-order .That period last for about 2-3 weeks.
4.Now is finally on the launch week, no guarantee from shop whether can get on Friday, then doubt again for 1 week.(This week)

Story not end......
5.Ok then if receive a faulty console (Touchwoods) ,still doubt whether can immediate 1-1 exchange ,or need to 2 weeks to 1 months? Then another waiting and look forward when the console will arrive.

Dont you guys think its too much?

yes, the coming few days are gonna killing me..

my main excitement to play on ps5: 60fps, fast loading, quiet in my room and the free ps + collections games(some i havent played)

In fact, I feel the experience of waiting for something we loving so much is damn fun, everyday waking up in good mood, knowing that the day of getting PS5 is closer again. Let’s us enjoy this moment, this only happens once after every few years.

Not losing any sleep yet but during the day I checked this thread and my phone and Sony's FB page frequently lol. At least today can distract myself with Cyberpunk reviews and playing some games.

But still not 100% confident I'll get it this friday, my Sony centre have been taking names even before preorder date started and my biggest fear is they will honor them first which don't make sense since official PO date is on the 12th. My other fear is that there's not enough stock eventhough I got mine pretty early in the morning. I tried messaging them but always very diplomatic replies. So not gonna bother them again, until they call me to book a time slot then only I'm comfortable.

Not too worried about Selangor public holiday since mine is in KL.

Sony logistics just contacted me for address confirmation
They sending out today and will use Gdex

.. just last week they delivered one item to my house.. the fella didn't even bother to call, thought nobody was at home at that time.. and simply threw the parcel inside the car porch.. the wife noticed the parcel when picking up another item which was delivered by ABX..

I just got the call from my game store i pre-ordered. Will be ready on Friday. But they warn about long queues, so the weekend is better.

Thought about this, but honestly i think it's my age (going to be 40 next year) .. I don't have the patience or the stamina to line up with a bunch of people and getting annoyed when the guy behind me stand too close or didn't wash his clothes properly and it stinks like wet dog haha..

So decided this console release to just snipe online if got.
Still remember when ps4 launch, was waiting outside GH for almost 2-3 hours (their stock late arrive).. So many kaypoh aunty types ask us got what special thing that people lining up for.. and the guy behind me whom smell like wet dog cos I guess he didn't dry his t-shirt properly.
