I'm not referring to the winner per-se, Lau Li Kung might as well be a made up name/person. Well Lucky draw competitions are usually outsourced to event management or marketing specialist companies.

Who in the right mind would expect people to look this up? But not in 2020 where most are internet savvy.

The purpose actually i created this terek, is to share another lucky draw experience of mine.

During 2013 i joined a facebook competition held by my friend. To support his fan page exposure, i joined his competition and spend some time to create artworks and materials to share on my profile.

I didnt expect of winning and during that time i just want to support my startup friend. My likes are leading the most out of my expectation. My feeling turned from a favour to eagerly win the first prize. The first prize are not a luxury but a 3c gadget worth 2k plus.

I checked my other competitors and make sure they are fall behind me when i get to sleep just a night before the deadline. Guess what, the following day when i woke up, the second, third runner, and the fourth has 5x likes more than I. I clicked on the profiles and i realized all of them are fake account.

I disappointed called my friend to ask for a why and i didnt get my answer. Ever since i didnt talk to that friend anymore and i still feel something whenever i see lucky draw or social media contest. I feel like being use to a close friend. He never apologies and I never get any compensated in the end. He admit he buy likes services on the internet because they'd never prepared any gifts from the beginning.

Everything are just a hoax.

I see that he wins a lot of those "spend & win" contest.

It's easier if you're spending company money. Then spending the minimum amount multiple transactions to win

Those "spend to win" contests. Rules are simple, the person who spends the most, wins.

Now... why would Mr. Lau be so confident in spending a huge sum of money on a contest that he might or might not win? You wouldn't know what's x amount to win 1st prize. He's even qualified for BPN (family category). Not trying to sound bad but B40 family won't and don't have this kind of money to "gamble".

Two scenarios - either he submitted false information to claim BPN, or he has inside information for the contests he participates in. Both are the same regardless - Fraud.

I have a theory. He did not join those lucky draw but the spending type. Maybe all is manage by a same event management. Then got insider inside telling him whats the exact ammount to spend to win. Then he spend exactly that. Need super detective /k/ to find out the event manager.

Thats why i always join lucky draw type.At least can blame on luck. But i did win a yamaha lagenda from 99speed mart this year. And a bloody lady won a freaking toyota corolla altis 1.8 from the same event. But this all is lucky because the grand prize: the car was a live lucky draw with all 100 eligible motor winners onsite. So that lady really lucky. Get car abd motor

I dont know about other contest but I tried play Umobile contest, I read the tnc. It actually who spend more points get more get more attempts win. Not actually lucky draw but who spend more. You don't have to actually spend more but you need to redirect the chunk of your expenses through Umobile top up to get points.

Alot of transaction can be done through top up, like in app transaction in Google play. If you direct your usual transaction through Umobile you can earns lots lots of draw. This guy is a professional contest for 15 years he probably know a lot of loopholes than we do

My brother's university roommate friend few years ago win rm15k allienware laptop. He is a professional contest, everyday play contest. Inspired my brother for few months. After few months playing all contest he found all my brother win was two big box of ferrero rocher chocolates. I think my brother tahan only 1 year and not bother anymore.
