1. he bought RM50k worth of commodity (in this example, dutch lady milk)

2. using the receipts, he entered the contest.

3. meanwhile he sold back the commodity at a slight markup (say just almost 10%) so say he sold it back for RM56k (RM6k gross profit)

4. bcos he is top spender, let's say he won the top prize (say a mid range myvi which would be around RM40k)

5. he either sold the myvi or continue to use it. let's say he sold it at maybe RM35k.

6.......

7. RM6k (profit from selling the overbought commodity) + RM35k (used myvi) = RM41k +/-

even if he didn't sell the milks at a profit, he still gained from disposing of the prize.

someone gave a clue on how he manage to move around so much merchandise

i do know some ppl do this.

this guy being in sarawak, makes much sense and logic.

look at those ppl who profitted from selling gardenia bread over there....

when i was there you can even get some popular ikea furniture from boulevard shopping mall, all sold at marked up prices.

that would arouse suspicion and the contest organiser can spot fake receipts la.

especially if they enquire with the company that sold the merchandise

1. he is sarawakian, a lot of ppl there bulk buy and resell back to their ulu places

2. i've seen ppl buy 1 full van of maggi mee 2 minit kari from tesco and aeon big, 10 carts full of maggi mee boxes, no question from the bosses since they were on promo and on the floor there are at least 2-3 pallet stacks of it still left. don't forget NSK as well where you can and allowed to buy by the carton boxes. this was b4 PKP anyway

3. sarawakians have big houses and big land....

as for air asia tix, well you can always buy for someone, i know some ppl actually do this on the side (sell cheap air asia tix, buy using their account but for other ppl, can collect points easily).

i have done it for my family members b4. he probably did it on a bigger scale just as he did for his other purchases

maybe he bought the UHT packs?

iinm there were several contests involving purchases of Dutch lady uht packs.

UHT can last 6 months on regular room temperature

yes, since most receipts don't have your name on it.

i notice that nestle require you to write your name and several other stuff on the receipt that you need to send when entering their contests.

maybe that's why he didn't enter any nestle competition. or did he?

well, my point is that he might be using this technique as a loophole to get multiple entries (and chances) of winning a contest?

you got a point. from his pattern, he chases after contests that offer cars or smartphones, or the occasional motorcycle.

didn't enter this contest though

some malaysians who worked in SG live in SG and didn't waste time commuting to and fro JB.

even now some are living there due to MCO and circuit breaker combo.
