I move to new home, I apply relocation of unifi from old home to new home.

Previous owner already pasang unifi there, have the existing fiber optic cable.

TM installer come, plug in noise reading machine, say existing cable reading is not good (noise level = Low), have to rewiring, wanna charge me RM60. i say ok fine, as long as it is working well.

After changing new cable, plug in noise reading machine again, say reading still not good (noise level = 34db), have to replace splitter (so-call the port) at fibre DP box.

After replacing the splitter, test the reading again, it is still not good (noise level = 26db). They said they replaced another splitter again and test, not good though.

Now they say have to do the wiring arrangement again because there is too much of bending wire.

What to do???

change house

ask the technician, u know how to do or not

TM staff sohai one. I rage quit on them after using their service for years. Ask come fix problem say my problem ok la then say since you accept calls frm TM KL 3 times I am charging you rm54. He only came 2 days in row and check wiring using a small box each time 5mins. I complain through phone through live chat through email scold KL said I will challenge the bill. Now a month later my final bill doesn't seem to have that charge.

LOL that is all broadband install SOP to die die try very hard to charge extra.

Are u staying in high rise or landed? Why would FIBRE have noise?

FYI fibre cable bending no issue as long as NO PATAH. if PATAH means totally no line at all..

I subscribe TIME and installer charge RM300 then i said by right got free cable 30Metre (or 15M cant remember) start from door to modem.
They call their boss and said confirmed count starting from door, so they re-measure again and this time says RM150 (RM160 discount RM10) i paid them lazy to argue.
Then i measure by myself and found out its way way below the length and straight send email with evidence to TIME.
Installer called me after few days and said come to measure again...after measure refund back CASH to me.

the other day my parents punya house, the cable to the house putus.. first asked tm to come, them tm come check2 , found out that cable putus and not under their part (before tm come, we also dont know why). tm said got contractor to come n fixed new wire.. contractor come and said price is 250 all in .. i was like what rm100 can la.. but he said cannot.. lastly refused to do it..


so ur rm60 is consider ok la..
