new user of dt231pro.......been through some posts and kinda refusing to report in as everyone here talk about all those higher end model and seems my dt231 is the cheapest.....but heck,im still loving it,Beyerdynamic FTW

dt231 maybe the cheapest beyer.. but its actually not "cheap" compared to most mainstream headphones ...after all everything starts from small then it accumulates isnt it smile.gif

hehe pcwork your DT770 still look new eh...
one thing I agree about beyer pro models, they are build like tank... I have no worries chucking it to backpack and getting crush by LRT commuters lol... actually I just did that few days ago, bringing back my DT990 Pro back from office... hehe.

how does it compare to 250 ohm and 600 ohm?
this 80 ohm one sounds quite "normal" to me. lol.

hmmm yeah actually wats the difference between different ohm?? to me its jz like a bigger load wif bigger resistance..

or izzit better quality speaker = higher resistance? hmm.gif

the ohms is due the the thickness of the cable used to make the voice coil... lower ohm uses ticker cables.. and lesser spins while higher ohms will be alot thinner cables and alot more spins to make the coil
so you guess the later part biggrin.gif...

wah 80 ohms.. should sound awesome if plugged to a bass guitar biggrin.gif mang what great friend you have wink.gif

start digging lol.. you wont know what you may find.. just like i found my house had a pair of pretty old kenwood bookshelf speakers.. which surprisingly is a working pair and they sounded damn good for something which is "free" doh.gif
