Hehe I really love my Dt770 pro 250s. Sounds good on every song I tried so far, even low bitrate mp3s sounded good.

I currently using it on Fiio E7. I won't upgrade until I find the better amp have noticeable sound quality upgrades. Furthermore this headphone is still new (less than 20h playtime). I will only think about amp maybe after few months once the supposed "burn-in" settles. Right now it sounded so good even unamped hehe. It's something lower end headphone couldn't get even with mods and amps, this driver is simply better.

The only thing I don't like about this headphone is the coiled cable. Sometimes I really need the usual 3m cable length (such as sitting far away from the amp while watching tv or something at night). Though I like the short coiled cable when using on my laptop heh.

you should get the 80ohm edition then.. which has a long uncoiled 3m cable ... its all explained in beyer's site lol

80 ohm is for instrument's monitoring thus its design to fit well in its purpose, long 3m uncoiled so you adjust yourself gently and comfortably when playing the instrument.. 80 ohm is also being used so that normal smaller guitar amps can drive the heaphones well

250 is for mixing.. having coiled cable is so that it doesnt get in the way when you plugged into your mixing equipment.. you know how long cables will get in the way sometimes

but of course both of them sounds diff
