Actually I was very close to get the AD700s. In fact I auditioned initially the SR80, MS1i,DT440,AD700s and one Sennheiser which i forgot the model number. I narrowed down to DT440 and MS1i. I usually depend on reviews when getting headphone but I decided to trust my ears and go for the DT440 despite almost nobody here talking about it.

I think everyone is different.

Btw what amp did you pair with your DT440 last time?
*
Beyer was not talked about in Malaysia last time but we are moving it, by letting customer's ears to decide which one to get. smile.gif

crossroad edge.. sounds owesome with beyers (and its RM700).. imo my favourite amongst all the amps on jaben's table tongue.gif

Perfect match of beyers...

Sorry but I think the only choice is the A1... rclxub.gif It will make your 600ohm fly...

I have to admit that the DT440 was really nice sounding for the money. My friend was pretty happy with his DT440 and i'll probably recommend other friends to try that one out if they looking for a headphone smile.gif

Thanks for the great service the other day! Love you guys even more now lolz

I was thinking of changing the cheap Rm7 3.5mm jack to 2 RCA interconnect of my CrossRoads Edge Amp, I was wondering would it make a diff by changing the cap ayam one to those custom made cable?

Alrite just got my DT440 from Jaben yesterday...just love it.

I found out that by removing the piece of plastic behind the driver, you can make it fully open back (standard is just the size of 50cent coin in midddle)

So to all DT440 owners do try it out and let me have your feedback? I have not spend enough time with it to verify the different, but i do realize in changes of a wider sound stage.

Interesting mod here. Looks simple though. But I don't really have crafty hands here. whoever who try it do post their thoughts on any changes to the sound signature.

well i can meet up with u in Jaben and let u try smile.gif

im bad in putting review of the sound...but basically my impression on it, less "echo-ing" ...its like listening in a large room vs listening in an open street. Not sure its a bad or good thing laugh.gif
