With M1 chip shouldn't reach 10k for base model.

Else Apple really pricing it too far.

11k for 16".
Maybe 6k for 14"

hey there... not sure if you have purchased ur mbp but maybank is having 0% 12months installment via the ezypay plus credit cardplan..
*
Standard chartered can do up to 36 months 0% interest free installment, plus a complimentary year 2 warranty. I think it's a very good deal if you ask me.

The date on the website is the estimated date. Based on my previous experiences it would arrive earlier than that. Apple uses DHL which is quite fast.

Website cannot trust one. Delivery always many many days earlier than stated. 😀

But the 'New' design will stick for more than that 1.5 years.

The current design has been carried over since mid-2016. so, despite having major internal updates, the design is actually more than 4 years old.

got MBP 2020, coming for years old heavy ass and slowpoke MBP 15", demm this new MBP is a breeze.. so quick it makes me think having an iPad Pro is questionable now, I used to rely on the iPad a lot for quick office tasks.

but, the hell I was thinking I also dunno, but I'm looking to change the MBP model. hit me up if anyone potentially can come with a mutual agreement with me. check out https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/5198627

thanks

Not sure what type is this but they are usually original accounts registered under some fake educational institutions. Its sort of in a grey area.

Otherwise, the software itself is original MS office and its safe.

Take note, if its an account registered under some organisations, better to not use the one drive app under the same account or link your files to it. You never know who will be able to access them.

The stock is delivered from SG, normally it takes around 1-2 weeks (depends on customs clearance, mine was stuck there for few days), but definitely slightly earlier than the promised date.

If you have a use for it, why not (e.g. use it for homeschooling or online class for kids, etc..etc..). Otherwise, a lot of the things for that model doesn't work particularly well for example you would need to find a lot of dated dongles for external monitors and more.

If you are keen on it, what are the specs? Does it have an SSD installed on it already with maxed out RAM?

nope not ended up buying it, just a based model with 8gb of rams and no SSD. the wifi basically unusable and i went to switch service center for repair. Not able to do it as they told me this is an obsolete model and no more parts for it to replace. End up not buying it and return it back to the owner.

the owner asked me if i could help him to find a way to repair it
