Anyway, anyone can share the gaming experience? Especially dota 2 🤣

I’ve changed my shipping address(while my order is on processing status) due to the possibility of mco2.0 next week. Then my arrives date has delayed for another 3 more days. Just sharing here for those who’s planning to do so.

MBA get speed throttle once the heats built up inside. Better for u to go for Pro series, since Dota2 is quite graphic intensive.

hey guys.. i am thinking to get my dad an M1 macbook air, the RM4399 base spec... hoping apple Malaysia reduce the price slightly la since exchange rate now around 4.00 only..

generally he would just use the laptop to watch video, and do some microsoft office application work at most... 8gb version is more than enough right..

at first thought of getting those lenovo thinkbook 15inch, but then i think it is good for him to enjoy the good speakers & screen colour / resolution of a mac at his age..

i am still using the 2012 15" rMBP till today.... it is still a very capable machine for me...

Yes, base model is sufficient for these light usage. Its a very capable machine despite categorized as entry level Mac. You need to guide him to use Mac if he havent use before, as there’s a learning curve that he need to adapt.

Actually i have gone tru a lot of MBA M1 review n demo on dota 2. Its possible to play with low res. I got myself a gaming desktop so i dont really mind the low experience for having MBA. And its not u r playing dota all day long for the board to get really heated

Is this means that the mouse just got paired directly without needing a dongle?

Based on his usage, the MBA M1 base model would be perfect.

My MBP M1 just can't connect to my M590. No matter how many time I reset.

So I have to use a dongle to use the mouse.

Hi guys, just want to confirm Big Sur doesn’t support Razer peripherals isit? Any tweak that can be done to settle this problem? I have bought the some razer products and now I’m in dilemma wether to buy MacBook or switch to other windows laptop due to the incompatibility

Have you dropped a note to Razer's support desk to see if they are compatible? Also which product are you referring to? If you are talking about the Razer Core (external GPU), at the moment it doesn't support the M1 Macs and I think with Big Sur as well (not 100% sure) - potentially with an AMD GPU it might but don't quote me on that.

Oh just the black widow keyboard, kraken headset and a mouse. I have dropped a message on razer’s site but no response was given. And saw some people say Razer has decided to abandon Apple users 🥺
