Any idea is this workable as an extended storage for ps5 too? Because my plan is to get just 1 ssd as a storage for my MBA and an alternative storage for my ps5.

I’ve changed my shipping address(while my order is on processing status) due to the possibility of mco2.0 next week. Then my arrives date has delayed for another 3 more days. Just sharing here for those who’s planning to do so.

Anyone encountered ‘shipment delayed’ like mine here? Do we need to contact the courier to settle it or just wait for it?

Anyone here has any recommendation for MBA M1 case that wont block hub? I couldn't find it anywhere in taobao nor shoppee

Mine was ordered on 29th of dec. ETA 15-22 of Jan at first.
Then I've changed my receiving address last week, the ETA changed to 18-25 of Jan but still receive it on 15th.
Total 18days.

BTW any M1 user has any issue on their wifi? Mine seems to be having some random wifi issue when I switch on the laptop (encountered 3times till now since I got my unit yesterday).
Both 2.4g & 5g are not working whenever it happen. Only manage to get rid of it till I restart the laptop while internet on my phone and tv are running fine at the same time.
My current macOS is Big Sur 11.1.

My hinge is quite stiff whenever I change the angle after the screen remained at a position for awhile. Is this common?

Do you think it will cause any further problem in the future?
Anyway, I've schedule a support call with Apple on upcoming monday for my wifi problem. Will let them know about this and see what they gonna to say about it.

My MBA can't get network access after switch on or logon from sleep and it has connected with my home wifi & even hotspot(and this problem exist since day 1). However, my wifi have no issue with all my other devices. I had tried reinstall the macOS and reset my wifi configuration & router after guided by live chat support several times but the problem still exist(even restart doesn't helps).

Throughout the past few days, I've discovered a way to access the network by running the Diagnostic Report(Option+Wifi icon).
It seems like the diagnostic report somehow does trigger something in my MBA because my internet is mystically back to life whenever I click 'start' on the diagnostic report. So far, this method hasn't disappoint me yet but it definitely quite frustrated as days go by because I've to do it everytime before I start using this MBA.

So hopefully the call support on upcoming monday can help me get rid of this or best is offer me a replacement .

I did recovered from my old macbook Pro(late 2011) via the Time Machine at first but it stopped halfway by some error message. So i proceed without recovering in the end instead as too much time needed for recovery.

I did reinstalled the MacOS few days ago as per live chat support instructed but the problem still exists.

Nope, both ports on my mac were empty when problem exist.

An update after I finished my Apple's call support.
After 5 times trial of shutting down for 2mins & reopen my MBA and the problem doesn't occurred throughout the whole trial(not sure I should be happy or not - -).
So the representative advised and scheduled me an appointment to the nearest service centre available for further investigation(included my hinge complaint).

Sorry wasn't on LYN the past few days.
I've changed my appt to tmr instead. Will update here the outcome tmr after the appt.

An update after my visit to klcc machine service centre. Turnout my visit is nothing but disappointment.
Was engaged by Staff A at first then she escalated me to her superior/senior staff B after she couldn't answer my query.
Here're our rough conversation during my visit.

Me: told them about my problem , Wifi couldn't get network access infrequently & the hinge will be stiff and caused a pop sound after remain a position for long.
Staff A: Wifi seems fixed as I can connect to youtube & internet now. The warranty is only covered for hardware issue etc and hinge problem is not covered under the policy because its considered as cosmetic problem.
Me : the wifi problem is an infrequent thing, you need to run thru diagnostic report and take time to monitor it. How can the hinge considered a cosmetic problem instead but it's a necessary part to connect the lid and bottom part of the laptop? How am I going to use the laptop if the hinge was broken?
Staff A : The hinge is a cosmetic problem to us so if you send in technician will change the whole screen(including the led display) and we will need to charge you because it's not covered under warranty. (and she didnt reply further on my wifi complaint).
Me : wtf... this make no sense to me, do you really understand whats the problems i'm facing?
Staff A : It's ok, you fill up this send in repair form first(then she walk out and look for her superior).
Staff B : How can I help you?
Me : tell him my situation again.
Staff B : ok, you may sent in for our technician assessment which take about 14 working days( 7 working days for queue & diagnostic works + 7 working days for repair). However, the hinge problem memang is a cosmetic problem as per what my colleague(Staff A) say but you may still send in for assessment work first because if it's covered under warranty then they will repair right away.
Me : It's ok, Imma walk away now.

Conclusion : I've decided not to proceed further for assessment in the end as I'm not confident to hand my laptop to them after the whole conversation with them. Right now I think I shall take a video whenever any of these problems occur so I can show them if I decided to send in for repair in future. So that I can let them to have better understanding about my problems. Btw I've also tried all their show units(total of 7 units) and I've noticed there're 2 units have this hinge problem too.

*The wifi problem occur right after I reach home and I manage to take a video this round.

Thanks for your inputs and good tactic shared will consider to machine northpoint instead. Actually, I've been to klcc for iphone warranty claim few years back and Im satisfied with the resolution. I guess I was lucky back then.
So far I only got the chance to use it in my house due to mco but I did tried connected thru hotspot sharing from several devices and it's still happening so I assume it's something wrong with this laptop.
Speaking of my case, I was instructed by Apple support to visit nearest service centre earlier on then I decided to reschedule to klcc. Probably the result would be different if I didn't change it and stick to stick to their arrangement

I did talk to apple support and they arranged the appt for me but I reschedule it
Lesson learn now and I think I'll ask them to schedule my appt with Northpoint since they got quite a lot good words from you guys.
