Netflix on C716 no ATMOS yet, hopefully enable when update to Android 11.

I can get Atmos on Prime Video, Apple TV and HBO Max. Only Prime Video can output Atmos when audio set to passthrough. Apple TV and HBO Max need the audio set to Auto.

Atmos in Netflix, it was not, I did not do any resets, I just installed on TV 65ec780.
However, after wiping the app data, there's Netflix with Atmos....

Edit:
According to posts in many forums, Android 11 version has a lot of bugs,
so is not recommended to install yet.

But, at least something is going on.....

I am guessing 3.5 to 3.6k... Then maybe it's more worth to add little more for sony x90j with picture enhanced and 120hz panel... and also can buy additional 3 years warranty... hmm.gif hmm.gif

If you have budget for Sony X90J, it is no brainer to choose Sony instead of TCL.

Many will dislike my comment but in no universe TCL can beat Sony’s Bravia XR Picture processing.

For your case, you only consider TCL as your 2nd TV at home for cheaper alternative.

I have both Sony 65” X9000H and TCL 55” C716. I only use my TCL for my casual viewing while WFH.

Well, if both Sony and TCL selling at their retail price, of course TCL is better in term of value for money.. But since X90J price drop kinda much from 5k++ to 4k++... I really would consider Sony... Yeah, I kinda agree with you tongue.gif

Well you can wait until you can travel to Thailand.

I think the C728 is a better overall value, with gaming features and what have you. Probably RM4,500-4,800 for the 65", based on Thai prices. Though Thai sellers really offer discounts when there is a sale unlike Malaysian sellers.

TCL and Hisense and their hijinks in market segmentation. Oh well. Thai model beckons.

Yeah and? As I said before, I don't work for/with Hisense or TCL.

The C825 seems like a great product. Their Thai pricing however puts it within a spitting range of Samsung's 65" QN90A. At that price difference, consumers with the budget would favor Samsung even though TCL has Dolby Vision.

TCL Malaysia's decision to not bring C728 is baffling, considering that the C728 is more gamer- and movie-friendly. This demographic is valuable.

Maybe the decision is all about supply issues. Maybe it's all about being #1 in sales to beat Hisense, as evidenced in one of their Facebook postings. Whatever it is, if you want C728 or C825, you got to import it from Thailand.

I either not working for any of them and thanks god I didn't buy Hisense.

In Singapore 65C825 is $1,715.00 which is ~RM5200,00 and I don't know about Thai price,
but sure is not RM8000+ which you mentioned in that thread.

Decision not to bring here this or higher models is with them, not us.
Btw,
I mention a months ago which models is coming.

This is from the official Thai TCL's store on Shopee Thailand. 65" C825 for RM7,473. Current price is ฿60,000. Thai MSRP is ฿70,000.

The link you gave is not from the official TCL Singapore's store.

TCL Thailand has the 85" version of the C825.
