I'm not sure how well iOS memory management is to say that the extra 2GB of RAM is beneficial for long term. Yeah the 12 Mini seems great too. After using large phones for ages now I kinda miss compact phones.

Only on 18th month you can exchange provided your current phone is in good condition.


Just wanna know if 6GB RAM will be suffice? I'm now using a 12GB RAM phone.

For iPhone, 6GB is the highest RAM ever, and for iOS it is enough.

Well iOS optimization for Apps is great. Seen reviews where iPhone with 3GB RAM can beat Androids with higher RAM. So i guess should be no issue

this genshin impact seems becoming a benchmark for all the flagship phones now
i played in my 11pro, i just set most settings to low, and is eating my batt ~15% within an hour... set to max can feel the warm... guess not good to play such power demanding game in mobile for open world RPG like this, but luckily genshin impact support cross play, can play in PC and play in mobile once a while which is good

Comparing iPad pro 2020 which has 6gb to 11 Pro Max has 4gb, can see the hesitation occasionally of 11 pro max compare to iPad pro. More ram is useless is no proper OS management. Windows and OSX is another good example similar iOS VS Android.

Thus am looking forward for additional 2gb ram next 2 weeks as well.

True, despite iOS was built for gaming, they lose out on this.

Anyway, I also play it on PC so I don't fret much.

Yeah, a lot of players experience 'phone burn' because they're using low-mid range phones.

It drains battery really fast, that's something they need to look into their 1.1 update next month. I play equally on both mobile and PC so not complaining much.

I foresee they will come up with battery cases for the 12 and 12 Mini

I was considering Iphone 12 pro 256GB but now in dilemma to change to Iphone 12 pro max 128gb. I prefer smaller phone but like many has said, pro max is a better buy.

I hope the pro max camera with larger aperture and sensor size will be a lot better than pro.

over the years, the benefit of the 2GB RAM will become more obvious too when iOS is getting more and more intense of the upgrade yearly.

The company gave no forecast for the key holiday quarter, disappointing some analysts who were hoping for guidance. However, Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook said the new iPhone 12 line has been well received. Sales of Macs and Services also reached all-time highs in the fiscal fourth quarter.

The Cupertino, California-based technology giant on Thursday said sales in the three months ending Sept. 26 came in at $64.7 billion. That beat analysts’ estimates of $63.5 billion, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. Earnings were 73 cents a share, also topping Wall Street expectations.


Sales of the iPhone fell 21% on anticipation of the new models, which arrived later than usual this year. Cook said the response to the 5G iPhone lineup and other new devices has been “tremendously positive.”

In Greater China, one of the company’s most important regions, revenue fell 29% to $7.9 billion, the lowest since 2014. Products beyond the iPhone grew double digits in China, Luca Maestri, Apple’s chief financial officer, said in an interview with Bloomberg Television. He expects the iPhone 12 Pro Max with its larger screen to do “incredibly well” in the region and that the company is confident about growing there in the December quarter.
