confirm no touch id, no 120hz
never have iPad charger charge iPhone can fry phone ok sweat.gif
for charging, people always mistakenly thought is the charger push power to device, actually during charging, it is the device that DRAWS the power in watt, if a phone can be fry during charging, it has to be something wrong with either charger or the device that constantly draw power from charger

as simple as, even a charge head can output 45W max with 9V 5A, and if iPhone can draw max 18W @ 9V 2A, it will be 18W draw over during charging... case close, dont argue this, this is how electronic and electrical device draw power

Thumbs up. Thanks for your explanation. thumbup.gif So my normal huawei charger with usb-c can charge with no issue right?

But sad no 120hz, if not almost perfect. 5nm chip draws much less power, so don't know why they don't include it if it is battery concern.

QUOTE(Addword @ Oct 14 2020, 02:51 AM)
It’s 2020 bro, no more battery frying is happening UNLESS u use non MFI certified charger.

The eg happened when I was in europe many years ago. The joker's iphone (I think back in 2011) spoiled, cannot charge anymore. Another "expert" concluded because he used the ipad charger with a larger voltage to charge.

nowadays iPhone support PD, max should be 9V 2A 18W
if your huawei charger not support PD, and use to charge
iphone, most likely will fall back to 5V 1-2A, which range from 5-10W, almost slower by half compare to PD

huawei xiaomi oppo samsung all have their own proprietary charging method like qualcomm quickcharge... PD is usd org standard use mostly in modern laptop and few years ago when ipx launch Apple adopt PD (power delivery)

older iPad stock charger all the while 5V, just higher Amp 2/2.4A which can let device draw 10-12W, as compare to older iPhone charger which is 5V 1A 5W, impossible when your expert said the iPad charger provide larger voltage, the expert must be joker... up until Apple include PD charge it only able to go 9V 1-2A

AND if back to year 2011, i dont think any phone or tablet device provide 9V charger head lol, mostly 5V 1-3A

and most important still the myth people dont really clear, charging is always device draw power from charger when the voltage provided match, Amp is another factor to decide how many watts is draw

Yup, our preorders are more like register for interest with telco and those who register will get it on the day itself. I don't think we get preferential it is just that Tim Cook tried to have 2 waves of launch that's how we got 11 so soon.

Just glad we are not the isolated countries with their own released dates.

Currently using XS Max. Hope for ProMotion display, looks like I will be skipping this round of upgrade.

Looks good. Like the new slim bezel and iPad Pro like design. Is the iPhone 12 uses the same modem as pro max for its LTE or a different one? The one on the pro max is so weak in coverage

Selling it means I will lose a lot. sad.gif
Besides it doesn’t look like a big upgrade except for the square design.

Can sell but at lower prices. Gone are the days where you will get good resale values. Prices of phones have risen to a all time high level. Nowadays only mid range phones garner much attention.

Nope....you will still get the same 60hz on the 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max. Apple is definitely skimping on this screen and charger.

And no charger and no earphones right?
yeah. That's why they need a iphone mini to stay relevant cause the sales of their flagships are dropping.
