yeah finally i saw this plan.

currently using unifi 30mbps plan then turboed to 50mbps for RM189/month.

I am living at an old flat. I tried to ask maxis or unifi to change my plan to 100mbps. But they told me they couldnt sell to me due to my area not supported. max speed my area can support only 50mbps.

Finally I saw digi offering 50mbps at lower price.

recently been contacted by tm. saying my area now covered by fibre instead of vdsl.

offers me same rate but upgrade my speed from 50mbps to 300mbps.

i think tm just lock the port for their own customer. Digi told me my area no more port.

paying rm185 per month for unifi with hyptv. it was 2017 plan.

yeah the downside i dont want was 24 months contract.

my actual plan was 30mbps. then around 2018 got free turbo and me only entitled to 50mbps.

my internet currently connected through home old phone socket.

downlod speed around 45-50mbps
upload speed around 15-20mbps

Get you committed with another 2 years contract lock and keep making you pay the same high rates with little effort. I'm telling you 300Mbps is rarely achievable with overseas connection especially if the server is located in other regions. It's only good if your house has lots of family members or people using then everyone doesn't need to cram their bandwidth through a 50M pipe.

Look around the other competitor ISPs and compare for yourself how much they're charging for their 300Mbps plans. Choose wisely.

yeah.at first i want to change isp. been contacted maxis digi and celcom. all told me no port or not support more than 30mbps.

i am so confused now.

currently i hv 5-6 devices need to connect to internet.

If the ports not used up and got many spare inside, TM will have no choice but open up to other ISPs.

Or if you can't wait subscribe to TM and use for 2 years first. But consider taking a cheaper package such as 100Mbps which is still double your previous speed. RM129 still save RM50 every month at least.

Really suggest u to try approach those 3rd party Internet/Fibre agent, which they act as agent for all ISP, and sometimes they have better knowledge than those ISP's customer service which only give you official & general answers. Those agent will really help u from A to Z, coz they need to earn ur commission.

As I shared my story earlier, Digi's CS & Centre told me no 50mbps for my unit, but those agent settled for me.

U can just walk off if those agent is not helpful, no harm.

then close file.

after a year, want to pasang at hometown. told me no port then close file.

went to maxis, at first told me my kampung house address was “missing” in the system, but they make effort to solve for me. make a report to maxis HQ, after one week, told me can pasang. the next day already online.

so sad digi’s CS.
