Does anyone here have tried Genshin Impact ?

Would love to hear some opinion here.

Its good, similar to nier automata according to my friend; map is "waybig", combat feels fresh (we play honkai only)

As for me i have good and bad points on genshin;

- i generally like a big mapped game (nfs undercover, nfs most wanted 2012)
- combat feels fresh (i believe genshin is the 3rd game of its kind i played)
- its still new, so improvements will come

- while the map is big, i cant handle the detail very well. I easily get sick everytime i played it (same goes to dmc4se, darksider series)
- the button are confusing and far from comfort zone (always pressed wrong one resulting in instant low health or even death)
- phone requirement are way high (am using samsung s9+ and note8

Would be good if they open cross save across consoles too.

For a mobile game, it certainly has a lot of depth. As of now, there isn’t a need to “pay to win” and they’re quite generous with the currency.

I already stop playing. Spent the whole day playing yesterday just to see if it's worth it. The amount you spend time playing, and the amount of gems you get to roll is way too little for me for a gacha game. Not to mention the 0.6% rate to get a 5 star character. To top that you'd need a bunch of dupes for max potential, and lets not mention that gacha weapons are kinda essential too for meta

If you're casually playing and pretending it's just a single player game without caring much about the game element, it's quite good for a free game tho. Even 4 star units are very good to clear most stuff in the game. Not sure about end game.

Just how I wish this is a 60usd game, so I don't have to get frustrated over the gacha elements.

Yesterday for a day stopped playing it, and can't think of anything else to play. So i'll just play for now lol.

If I am planning to stick around I need some 5* units. So the best f2p way to do that is by getting 90 rolls to get a guaranteed 5*.

its ok i guess. play for 3 days on pc already but just casually. so far the gacha quite 50/50 for me. already 40 summon manage to get 2 4 star weapon, barbara and chongyun. not too bad i guess since u get the stone just lvling up, chest, quest etc

quite boring for me. played it for few hours then uninstalled.

If you like exploring and farming and manual play worth it.

I'm still on f2p, I go Venti from single summon pull.

All hero are good though nothing is bad so far

90 roll is guarantee either unit or weapon..
180 roll is the guarantee unit for it

also i kinda agree on you if only this is a 60usd game without the gacha element

aik 180 rolls? ok... lol! Either way I heard rumors they might revamp the gacha. See if true or not, because most are leaving the game because how shitty the rates are. In the long run it's not good for everyone.

Yeah gg, should have been in a 60usd game for me. High chance people would love it more over shitty gacha. Guess they are willing to sacrifice the title of a game, just to earn more money in the end.

I do 1 pull on beginner banner and 2 pull on venti, yet to get any 5 stars characters.
Should i wait for revamp only pull again?

0.6% chance to get a 5 star unit.. so just think for yourself the probability.

The revamp also is just rumors, take it with a grain of salt

I have been single player all the time. Not sure how multiplayer works but joiner seems like nothing to gain other than helping others hitting monsters. Only benefit in bosses and dungeon runs I think.

I'm honkai impact veteran..my take is save ur primogems for 90x pull 5* or future better character banner..current available banners will surely return or update. No need to rush lol.

Anyone got failed to connect issues when using mobile data? I'm using celcom & it seems I cant connect to the game

His is my plan, if the gacha system isn't changing.

Currently AR26. Bought the 30 days primogem blessing and the RM400 gem pack (which has a one-off double gem promotion) just to support the developer. So far have one 5*, Keqing. Other 4* I have are Fischl, Bennet, Noelle, Barbara, Xiangling and Chongyun. Not going to buy anymore gem packs unless got a really nice promotion going.

Enjoying the game as of now with Xiangling+Fischl+MC anemo elemental combo

Co-op to do party instances, I'd say start doing weapon upgrades ones after reached ar20, those varies day to day so get to it asap

I double checked my shop and apparently you are right. it's per package. This is how my shop looks like now. The 399.90 package still has a bonus but much lesser.

In my case only max 2 main heroes and their weapons. Hunting artifacts 4* while waiting for some equip primogem discount events to spend. F2p here.

1) How come I only have 1 wish right now when my adventure rank is now 5 (characters level 5 and 4)? I read that I get 10 wishes at level 5 and another 10 at level 10?

My quest now is to meet Amber at the temple to stop Stormterror's siege on the city...

2) How to obtain more wishes? I accidentally used 1 wish to in the Wanderlust Incovation banner and got a cool sword lol.

3) Might reroll.

Character lv different from Adventure Rank, the latter is what you refer to regarding the free wishes

Check menu > shop there you can trade in to obtain wishes

>Farm enough primos for another 10 roll

No need, both are not related to one another.

However, the character style is similar, basically Mihoyo's signature.

Genshin Impact is like a weeb version of Zelda to me, also brighter and more colorful.

how do you get more intertwine fate etc for gacha?
i only know of exhanging gems with fates
i kinda expecting like azur lane or other gacha games, login once get one or two cubes for rolling

Tbh just play at your own pace, already seeing players complain they've exhausted the game...just insane. There's little need to be competitive atm

well i decided to play about 30 mins, explore around, and found 4 of those anemomules or whatever.
upgraded the statue to level 4, nice.

Don't know, most likely won't have pvp. Because the safest route is always just pve with coop for gacha oriented games.

Unfortunately Mihoyo previous game title been working on 3 years till today have no pvp content... haha

As for the competitive system perspective, they do have point based ranking system and speed run challenge.. not sure if they will be bring these feature to GI.

im not sure about world boss, as for current available bosses/dungeons on the map...i believe you can play it in co op mode already.
they always working on new content to their games..I head they have development and marketing budget of $100 million lol.. its long run game, so dun worry.

I'm almost AR40 also not yet feel exhausted. Those fellas probably don't like explore games.

If you reach AR10, you should have enough primogems for 40 wishes already.

I'm playing it more often as well now. While at first I didn't like it, but if you treat it as a single player game, there is more to love about the game. As long as you're ok about doing the same thing tho, exploring, killing mobs, and get those treasures. Some might find it boring.

Where to roll for new character? I got Noelle from beginner bundle and couldnt see any option to roll for other character?

Finish the beginner rolls and then start doing others, there are 3 banners in total

Almoat 31 and i haven't finish main quest and no idea if im close to being done, did a lot of exploring and working on weekly book missions and im aware there's still plenty to cover

What im tryna say is people who believe they have covered the whole game at this point is insanely hardcore and acting entitled over a free content. Literally clown

Also regret to hit 30 because mob is now tankier and these new comission takes more time and effort. Wish i climb abyss earlier too now conlanfirm more struggle

Endgame content capped by resins. Has to use primogems to get more resins if you want to advance quicker. The artifact stat roll rng being one of the endgame equipment you need to reroll, till you get a really good stat, and clearing abyss is one of the endgame too.

So far much of the endgame content reminds me of Epic Seven lol. Even the Abyss name is somewhat similar, and the artifact stat rerolling haha

abyss wont scale with ur AR level, infact if the monster higher level than u , u do less dmg.
so higher AR thus higher unit level is better for abyss , assuming u got the dmg la

If you finish all the archon quests, story quests, side quests and secret treasures, including daily commissions, you should hit around AR34 before the real grind starts.

If you stuck at AR30 means you skipped a lot of stuff and didn't explore enough.

i know maa but during that time im still around 70 wish and if i got 5 star support like character venti i still probably stop playing now...
my damage output too low without true realiable dps character (before diluc my rooster is full of support)

Explore the world and open chests? How can you get stuck at AR17?

I have done all quest and other quest are needed higher adventure level. Got one which ask me go to liyue but I cannot go further it always ask me explore other place require lower level. I cannot enter temple of lion etc cos low adventure rank. That’s why stuck

surely u missed something. go do ley line, chest or just explore again the map. u definitely missed something. not suppose to stuck at ar17

Time limit banner pity will carry over. That's why some f2p save up or pull till around 70 (to fill up units) then wait for their prefer banner

More like single. Coop only if u need to steal/share certain resource or do harder content (ar40 up domain)

Because it's the only server that gave me a lot of 5 stars.. also I have friends on discord who are from the US, so I usually play with them, so it's fine for me.
