huh? is there arena or pvp content that I missed

Well... not trying to change their view, my time is precious, games only for passin' time especially now with cmco many outdoor activities are quite restricted...

At this stage, i don't see any implementation of contents that would need P2W or in near future... can't say for future version...

I own a NS, nvr play BOTW, n dun think i'd buy unless it got 90% discount... meanwhile, I will give GI a chance since it's still new, tats y still got those indie games sittin in my NS SD i bought during sales yet unplayed ..

That's a fair point, indeed. Normally i would spend only a little just to show support if it's really good, but i barely spent more than 200 which is about price of a 3A title... the problem i hav w gacha game is de power creep... i don't mind p2w if it's well balanced, but it's hardly the case for most gacha i played b4 (not that i had played many, since 90% were craps)

I would hold my view on GI for now, as there is no PVP n it's viable to clear contents w free heroes & mc except to score perfect at highest abyss level... but who knows, it's an ambitious title for supposedly mobile game... it's free anyway, i am not competitive nor perfectionist neither, so its easy to avoid falling into gacha trap. lastly, it is a nicer mobile game out there that suit my playstyle currently, although my phone get hot easily, not a big deal due to time constraint... will see how it turns up in de long run

de latest update will reward you a radar to detect anemo/geoculus from de new reputation system IIRC

although most of the time i was able 2 find new ones whenever i tracked the daily missions... was too focus 2 activate the warp point tat I forgot which area I haven't explored... soon with de update on map progression, it should show de area where we haven't explored

unless you coming from the gacha aspect, I would say this sentiment overacted... granted BOTW is one of its kind, at least for most zelda fans... to say GI is a clone of BOTW... man, should i say BOTW is a semi-clone of mixture of some open world titles or similar predecessors... bsides, only the chinese fanbase being de dorks while surprisingly most western gamers in general do not have issue except the infamous gacha/lootbox like crap or those with deep rooted racist attitude when it comes to chinese developers...

abit side track, damn, BOTW still cost a bomb after 3 yrs, sales don't even give much discount...

BTW, with the fix after v1.1 update, seem like many has issue with the environmental damage from elemental reaction or rather the burn and electrocution... i dont own klee or diluc but xianglin, so far i haven't had major issues with this fix which was intended since day1... but i did find it's a hell combat in tight area or slope where the crappy camera angle screw me up on my mobile... any main pyro dps feel de "heat" in general since the new update on the contrary, i found this fix helped me more where i could clear de mobs faster while exploring since de elemental reaction deal more damage now

b careful w pyro or electro dps particularly those melee ones now that environmental hazards pose more threats than before... dev has restored to what it was meant to be, a double edge sword that can help killing the mobs faster but at the same time the repercussion is insane since many so used 2 mashin button by brute force using certain DPS without 2nd thought of de enviroment they're in n their elements due to bug in previous vers makin' burn & electrocuted damage negligible... guess some claimed it was so easy 2 mop the map n found nothin 2 do later, this should make them thinkin' twice trying to rush thing n play it like a 100% hack n slash game


Afaik when against shielded enemies, without considering e. reaction,
hydro atk is more effective against pyro shield.
Pyro atk is more effective against cryo shield
Geo+claymore super effective vs Geo.
cryo atk is quite effective against both electro n hydro
Electro, well, to trigger e. reaction after apply other elements, i.e electrocution, superconduct, overload (immune pops up alot for bosses )...

If pull mona, she is also another candidate more efficient against fire flower with her e.skill but her dodge needs to get used2...

If you freeze an enemy, switch to claymore user for dealing shattered damage which is quite substantial...

raining is now dangerous to electro heroes.... since it will trigger electrocution n deal more dmg than b4

Heard there is also a bug to Klee's clustered bomb where the anemo atk cannot draw in the bombs (2nd thought, it may be a bad idea for anemo mc but good for other ranged anemo)

Yes, burn damage was there... but there were b4 ppl sayin' it deal pathetic dmg, better just whack enemies to oblivion... so it turned out was a bug... then dev fixed it...
guess those complaints mainly were those main diluc so much that they forget how to adapt gettin caught in environmental hazard he puts himself in... n worse, they didn't diversify their com so they are pissed their diluc/klee are turning into pyro kamikaze squad in this version...

Keqing or electro dps is another issue... but it can be circumvented only if you have built another com consisted of different elemental dps... so another group is pissed with their electro dps become suicidal psycho when in or near hydro environment...

Good for you learning about the original intension of the system

it only increases based on World Level... the damage increases are so insane compared to prev version, but then if only you learn to fight by mixing n diversifyin' instead of followin' those builds that focus on particular S tier pyro/electro heroes in hope to brute force thru de whole content... well, that's how they find themselves in dip sheeeet now...

I have no issue since i have leveled evenly with at least one hero of each element... n i enjoy using elemental reaction 2 n play carefully (with exception in abyss n de damn air balloon daily mission where the contents need to clear fast)... downside is it gets harder when my world level goes up but my heroes level couldn't catch up... however, with the fix now, i actually found those elemental reaction dealin' more damage thus benefits me more

was playin' around w C1zhongli+C1ningguang+C6traveler, plus one outsider venti... basically Qs after every few cycles throwin' out E for each... cos currently suppressed my AR at 35, didn't have good artifacts & no luck with 5* weapons to try out the full potential >< (though have 90k adventure experience racked up now, not sure what World rank would be if i complete de AR ascension quest...)

LOL ... hopefully, there is another ascension quest preventin' me leaping 2 even higher WL b4 I complete it or else i would be doomed... my current gears aint ready 2 take on creeps at higher level since i have no 5* artifacts yet...

haven't been readin' up walkthru etc now just log in 2 do daily & finish up quests...

obviously i was so taking my time learnin' about the mechanics slowly, n since i wasn't rushing that's why i barely looked up all the info for late game grindin... of course, this resulted in a hard lesson after i knew now... anyway, since i am playing at my own pace, n as far as I don't go raise up the world level, it will still be manageable b4 i gear up... Reaching AR45 is not an issue, like the other who replied there will still be more AR ascension quests 2 take, I have racked up more than enough adventure exp providin' i can clear AR quests... so my issue is 2 grind when monster level increase w/ de WL b4 I get better artifacts...

my main dps... not even main honestly... is qiqi carryin' me thru de rough ones so far... went too relaxed n experiment w most new chacs i got all this while n now i had 2 slowly build up after clearin' all quests n learnin' de last one was de AR ascension quests i had neglected way 2 long n realized my ar exp has racked up so much... i was like sheeet... if i clear it n then my WL goes up as well as de monster get 2 strong for me 2 chew everywhere LOL ...

ya, i am trying 2 rework on my grinding plan as I intend 2 move forward with my AR... all the while my resources were spread out to 2/3 of my casts, and only 1 dps to carry me when against stronger foes... strictly speakin' my dps is not even a true dps... if the world level increase, i am sure my current dps won't be able 2 deal... so it's about time to be serious and focus in building a real dps, though need to do it carefully as WL 35 to 45 is a huge spike in monster's strength, if i have trouble in world map, let alone facing foes in abyss of deeper levels ...

she was "nerf" so much from de CBT, perhaps make her yo exploration mascot, lol... she was one of my sub dps, but only during raining or near waterbody, LOL, C0 is literally a trash on her...

No longer 35 for me ... I finished de 2nd AR ascension quest last nite n it bumped me up 2 AR 44, with only 1k exp left 2 reach 45

Strugglin' abit now since i still have a hardtime decidin' who to build up 2 b my main dps 2 carry my team from now on, lol...
