For those registered for Affin Online, do you immediately see both credit cards in internet banking? I just activate the cards and activate internet banking today but I can't find both cards in the Affin Online. I was told the cards will appear in Affin Online tomorrow. Not sure how true is this....
*
already stated many times, check again the following day.

They clearly spared no expense on the design...

beauty is in the eye of the beholder ma

fyi, there are few features:

1) glitter design on the pattern
2) translucent core -- downside is, the printing behind not very clear
3) visible contactless antenna (like wearing bikini but not fully naked) cool2.gif
4) silver glossy affin logo and card name
5) "quickread" design for card number, etc

btw, since you are not NTB, the duo card added later, does the anniversary fall on the same month (like MBB) or follow it's own?
*
nope, duo is Sep, my VS is Apr

PBB Quantum Visa is better than Affin Visa Signature right? 5% vs 3%.
*
simple: can you consistently wave at least 10x RM250 per cycle?

if yes, go for Affin VS to get higher cb.

if no but >RM600, whack Quantum Visa first (RM600 wave spending), then to Affin VS

if no but <RM600, Quantum Visa would do

Hi, wanna confirm something, correct me if i am wrong

my statement date is 16th.
if i topup e-wallet rm2667 on 20th sep and 10th oct,
cashback for two months will reflect in the same statement which is 16th oct?
*
not "two months".

spending within statement cycle from 17 Sep -> 16 Oct (posted by 15 Oct) --- then cashback credited on statement date = 16 Oct

I picked up my cards last week from a branch. I asked about creating an online account and I was told everything can be done online.

I failed to do it today. I called the CS and the CS asked me to go to the branch again to create an online account.

It's so frustrating.

QUOTE(jenern84 @ Sep 29 2020, 07:58 PM)
How to get the PIN?
*
refer above. no need ATM.

branch still need to pre-register one of the card first . if not. 1st time registration won't work because it cannot find any card info.

There was a COC offer too.
Not sure if it's still available.

You should consider to include Affin BHP Card in photo to be “one family set”... haha

The design of Affin BHP card should follow Visa Signature or Duo card footsteps, it now looking totally different
*
BHP co-branded card, may not work with them since BHP may have a say on the artwork laugh.gif

Could that be I'm not selected to participate this RM30 cash back campaign?

dont think need invitation. if not mistaken, this copy was modified from earlier activation campaign. i've gotten mine for an earlier Affin card without being invited.

Do you have existing saving account with Affin?

Curious to know if a requestor does not have one and where they will transfer money to... hmm.gif
*
if you ever read the T&C...

5. Cardmember may apply to withdraw cash (“CIP Amount”) from the Cardmember’s AFFINBANK/AFFIN ISLAMIC Credit
Card/Credit Card-i’s account (“Card Account”) and such withdrawal is subject to the terms and conditions herein.
Cardmember may apply CIP Amount to disburse to Cardmember’s Current/Savings Account/-i with a Malaysia registered
bank with IBG facility or via a credit transfer into the Cardmember’s Current/Savings Account/-i with AFFINBANK/AFFIN
ISLAMIC provided the total CIP Amount does not exceed maximum CIP Amount as per clause 6.

13. In the event the BTiP/CIP application is approved, payment to the other bank’s or card issuer’s credit card account or
Current/Savings Account/-i will be made via Interbank GIRO (IBG). The Bank will not be responsible for any loss incurred
by the Cardmember in the event the Cardmember provides inaccurate details of his or her other bank’s or card issuer’s
credit card account or Current/Savings Account/-i; which the approved BTiP/CIP Amount was credited.

Can monthly payments of car loan, car insurance and road tax payments be eligible for cash rebate? Lets say they are paid through standing instructions or auto debit. Or only if transacted through online?

*
other than the exclusions, should be yes, as stated by the Duo Visa Cashback features:

8. What is auto-billing transaction referring to?
Auto-billing transaction refers to authorised periodic, automatic payment made during a set
amount of time representing an agreement between Cardmember and merchant to purchase
goods or services provided over a period of time such as utility bills, telco bills and etc. This
includes online monthly subscriptions such as Spotify, Netflix, iflix and etc.

Will the CIP limit be increased if use balance transfer or still limit to affin card credit limit?
*
// Each cardmember can apply maximum transfer amount capped at RM15,000 or shall not exceed 80% of available credit limit/facility limit, whichever is lower. //

depends on your available CL

if you utilized 80% of your available CL for BT, of course CIP will be 80% (max RM15k) of the remaining 20% CL balance (after BT approved).

Balance transfer would increase the credit limit by transferring the balance from other banks right? not decrease it?????
*
not increase, but restore/revert the available CL for the other card(s). Its CL limit still maintained unless you request to increase it.

Affin's CL (if you use BT/CIP), would be reduced (reserved for the BT/CIP)
