my other principal just received the Duo today. approval 8 Sep. assigned statement date 16. just called to change statement date.

really speechless.

my approval 7 Sep until now MIA. affin staff asked me to request for replacement of tomorrow still not received.

i just back from registering online banking.

1) fill form: name, ic, mobile number, sign, verify thumbprint using mykad.
2) staff fill in one of the card number (pre-registration)
3) staff register into system
4) leave branch. reach home, perform new registration using card number (pre-registered at branch) + card PIN (during activation)
5) setup the login etc etc. TAC sent to mobile number.
6) login and check details. card info not available yet. will wait tomorrow to be reflected.

try again later lor. even if you can login, you cant see the card details anyway.

Affin branch called back (after complaining multiple times) to ask me wait till this Friday before calling to replace (expedited process).

Staff asked whether i chose Courier or Normal Mail. Told the staff, i use the Add Card form, no option to choose delivery method. Didnt even know the application form got Courier option! laugh.gif hmm.gif

Staff said HQ received 7xx+ returned packages from courier due to owner not available. hmm.gif

no idea if his info correct. but returned mail is quite normal.

expedited process means branch to pressure hq to prioritize printing and send to branch ASAP. no point waiting for mail delivery.

best part is, my other principal received the card with exact address. so, it's not location issue. very likely missing or misdelivered. obviously no way to track either.

avoiding the reward card won't change the sst in cashback card anyway


no idea how affin system works in terms of unactivated card. also, no impact for year 1 since sst rebate is in this card already.
