Notice both x70 & x50, required 5 liter engine oil each service. However, quoted price is different at rm150 & rm130. Do they use different engine oil for x70 & x50 or this just marketing gimmick to lower down x50 service price.

X50 using 5w30, X70 using 5w40

Nice review!

I remember watching a wapcar video on the Binyue, the presenter mentioned that the car in "D" mode will not move unless you press the accelerator?

As for the colours, I can imagine what the red will look like but I think the orange is easier on the eyes. The blue is probably like the Iriz blue.

The dual tone white-black remains the nicest colour IMHO, always ogling when I see Volvo XC40 or Range Rover Evoque with that paintjob drool.gif

I thought this is how this DCT acts when a lot of the x70 CKD fellas got their car last time. It doesn't creep as much (or at all) as other wet DCTs/CVTs. Supposedly protect gearbox? I don't know. Then again I heard ppl say those conti cars creeps with wet DCT.

I was all for orange, even booked it with that colour first until I went and see it irl vs blue. It's definitely Iriz blue, but on this car, orange took a lot of convincing to me to eventually like it, but blue is simply love at first sight. I changed to blue then.

I suggest visiting showrooms to see the cars irl if you care how your car's colour tone is like in different angles as this car has aggressive lines that shows different shade of the colour even looking at a fixed plane.

White definitely nice, but malas to take care.

Blue with black dashboard is ok, but with red one...... so mismatched.

I honestly think blue and red pairing is not bad. In fact they're complimenting each other in a color circle. Red and orange in the other hand, they sit next to each other. If the orange colored x50 red trim at the grill change to dark cyan color surely will look nicer.

At first thought so too, went and see, not really that bad, since the red's kind of washed out. After tinting will make it even subtler.

Frankly, given the choice I would've wanted a black dashboard regardless of exterior. Right now it doesnt even feel like red inside matches the solid passion red as well.

Exterior being blue is actually making the reds more prominent, brake calipers, brake lights, and the front grille thing. I do get why red interior may not appeal though, but as mentioned, didn't bother me as much as I thought it would.

hi all,

the major difference between x50 premium and flagship are just engine TGDI and non-TGDI. Should i go for premium although flagship is still within my budget? i have yet been test drive, so want to seek advice from anyone who have done test drive on both variant biggrin.gif

The other major difference is Level 2 autonomous driving assistance. A very important feature IMHO

Yes, surprised?

Somehow for x50 it only needs 5 liters. Philippines version geely coolray needs 5.6 liters. Not sure what change proton engineers did to reduce the capacity
